Great to see the club is starting to grow some balls and we are no longer a charity giving out games to blokes like Gov who haven’t deserved them.

Maybe we are baiting a potential ruck signing? If Pitto was preferred ruck to close out the season in front of the $1.8m man it may signal they are being courted as depth. Players more likely to come for a competitive price if there is the lure of becoming “the man”.

We’ve deemed his performance has been no where near $650k per year value and are saying we’re not going to allow you to trigger the final year of this current contract. However, if you want to stay with us, we’ll offer you $400k on a new 1 year deal take it or leave it.

After looking good in the practice matches , he has been super disappointing. Hasn't racked up wingman numbers often and his kicking has been terrible. Really needs to do the work to get it to AFL standard for an outside mid.

Here's hoping for a big night back in the side
