I couldn’t walk on my knee when I tore my MPL. The kneecap kept on dislocating. I had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance as I was watching a mates band in Warrnambool. The guitarist took me home at 3am in the morning
The shit thing was, the surgeon didn’t believe me I had done something until I had the MRI scans

Jason Snell badly broke his leg during a game (IIRC Against The Dees) many years ago. That was maybe the most horrific injury I ever seen in my lifetime following footy.

Before my time but poor Neil Sache ...
Life ruined by an cruel on field accident/tragedy.
Can't really begrudge players wanting a good pay day when their playing careers (and possible quality of life and potential post footy career) could possibly be ended with one dreadful/horrific injury.

I got infracted the other day by a flogmod. They're just a bunch of admin rimmers really, mr junior modflog of the year.
To be fair, it's a volunteer job to be a mod here (unless you are taking kickbacks from the owner of Big Footy Gordon Groves like zackah and Chief)
The good news is now there is a mechanism to appeal or talk about infractions/suspensions.
Even if they don't reverse their decision (which very rarely happens) they actually give you decent and useful feedback for why you copped the whack.
If you think of mods as online Civil Servants that may help (or maybe not)
