Never heard anybody say anything negative about Power. It appears to be a case of him deciding to move on after 6 years at the club. I'm sure that he will be in demand for a role at other clubs.

Keeping absolute disaster coaches and losing good ones really burns.

You'd have to think the departures would have all come together. It's amazing that the midfield and forwards coaches were the ones to remain.

Neither of them are contracted for next year. So come the start of November, they should be out the door as well. I would just put them on gardening leave until the end of their contracts and say cya later.

It's not the clubs move. He's moving on because the club couldn't/ wouldn't provide what he was after.

The coaches that will stay no matter what are the coaches we don't want.

Power seemed like a good one, but maybe GW and CD have decided to completely clear the decks. I would rather a completely new team around Voss rather than a few hanging on from the previous era that might feel disgruntled about their mates getting shipped off.

From what I've heard, I doubt Russell remains. I'd be surprised if he did.

Power has always been a funny one to me.

Has this great rep as best in class in player development and yet we've had a distinct lack of it during his 6 years at the club.

Has always felt a little bit like all bark no bite to me.

Out of the 3 line coaches, Hamill was the one I thought would stay. I thought Power was easily one of our success stories, with the way he has the VFL team playing, despite the massive injury toll, and the progression of several youngsters.

Nah, it was already in the works. I got a txt on a couple days ago stating that Power, Ebert and Clarke are all possibly in the departure lounge.

There’s good wraps on him but any good organisation would concede the definition of stupidity is doing the same over again that isn’t working.

A guy that personifies respect, leadership, loyalty and success.

What an ideal Luke Power replacement he would be.

If his tv / broadcasting persona comes across IRL, not many less inspiring.
