Surprised by this and it doesn’t seem like a good move, but how the hell would I know who’s good at what?

Neither of them are contracted for next year. So come the start of November, they should be out the door as well. I would just put them on gardening leave until the end of their contracts and say cya later. You'd have to think the departures would have all come together. It's amazing that the midfield and forwards coaches were the ones to remain.

It's not the clubs move. He's moving on because the club couldn't/ wouldn't provide what he was after.Surprised by this and it doesn’t seem like a good move, but how the hell would I know who’s good at what?
Aren’t they uncontracted for 2026? That’s what I’ve heard anyway.
Cripps rates Clarke above any other coach. Let’s see how much influence he has under the new regime. No idea, but they are both terrible and need to go.
Davies starts Nov 1. However, can guarantee he will be involved in trade period decisions. And it seems Davies yet to actually start.
Today's release had a quote from Carlton Acting GM of Football Len Villani.

It's OK, you didnt dream it; https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bluemour-discussion-xxxix.1400333/post-89411808Why do I feel like I saw something about us keeping Clarke?
So, Power gone now too...
Yet Russell and Clarke will remain...
GW realises how important the 2026 draft is!
The only thing I could of would be getting rid of Power because of their prior association at the Paddlepops.Power seemed like a good one, but maybe GW and CD have decided to completely clear the decks. I would rather a completely new team around Voss rather than a few hanging on from the previous era that might feel disgruntled about their mates getting shipped off.
Any chance we gain some assistant coaches or do we plan on just losing them all?

Pretty sure Clarke is contractedNah, it was already in the works. I got a txt on a couple days ago stating that Power, Ebert and Clarke are all possibly in the departure lounge.
Pretty sure Clarke is contracted

Pretty sure it was reported that just Hamill and Hansen had contractsPretty sure Clarke is contracted

Travis Boak being spoken to by clubs.
Do we have a connection?
If his tv / broadcasting persona comes across IRL, not many less inspiring. For a club that has clearly framing a narrative about the younger brigade being the future + having a questionable culture from senior players, Joel Selwood is exactly the type of person who could really elevate things within the four walls in a player development / leadership role.
A guy that personifies respect, leadership, loyalty and success.
What an ideal Luke Power replacement he would be.
