Yes - and with 25+ years of draft data, we know that 29% of players taken from 3 to 5 make an AA team. Yes...71% NEVER make an AA team.

I totally agree, and I don't believe we will split as the chance of getting en elite player does diminish every selection you drop back. That's not in question. But the narrative some seem to have whereby there's an expectation a top-5 pick delivers an elite player is just not close to the reality.Sliding Draft spots to increase our number of picks becomes problematic, as the data shows and the law averages. Although, you also need to factor the environment the player is entering which can shift the numbers marginally.
I'm starting to go that way. That Robey did so well with a broken collarbone is amazing. Shows that it is not just brawn, also footy ability and smarts.Sharp and Robey. Lock it in
What happens if West Coast select Robey before us, does that mean West Coast forced Richmond to close? If we don't draft Robey
We might as well
Just close the whole

I hope you have an appetite for Hird Kool Aid if he ends up at Essendon. At this stage if we dont draft Robey ill probably just start going for whoever drafts him
The word is we are spending a lot of time talking to O Taylor. I cant imagine a pick 2 or 3 for him so is a split on the cards ? I am lead to believe we really like him and he is a focus.
