Welsh was the one patching things up with Zach, how much of this is the change to head off the board spill and how much of this rumoured spill involved Welsh anyway?

Welsh is too heavily connected to old essendon groups that I don't know if this is a positive move just yet.

Agreed, my concern is who has the ear of Welsh.

He's been here and working with the coach and vozzo. He's apparently been a Barham man.
But I don't trust anyone who is making grabs for power at the moment time, I don't totally buy that this was brought forward simply to stage off a board spill.

Nothing against Welsh and I don't have any info, I just don't think I trust anyone at the club ATM.

I like all the (relative) optimism in this thread, but I just cannot be as optimistic. Barham is the one that severed Dodoro from this club. Welsh has links to him.

I am looking for two things from Welsh this off-season. Keeping Scott at all costs and keeping the current direction we're heading from a list build perspective. If either of the two aren't met, then we're done.
