Surely were Dodoro and his faction to return to positions of power and influence over the club's future direction it would deal a catastrophic if not fatal blow to both the Membership figures and the wider supporter base. At the very least it will set the club back for another decade.

Hird and Dudoro coming back would be the final sign to me that the club is truly beyond hope and that there's better things to do with my life than invest it in a team that is only interested in the past.

There actually should be more of this particularly at essendon. The past is our main hurdle to future success atm.

Also happens a bit just not reported on. Lots of past players at every footy level think they know more about today's workings, a shit opinion than those committed to actually doing something.
