The misery of the spring racing carnival and ugh cricket season is now looming large.

Being in the small percentage of posters around here who work fulltime and has adult responsibilities leaves me little time for much else. But I figure this seems like a good place to discuss general sports and bs for those who are that way inclined.

According to Catman the season isn't over, there should be a GF Replay played next week but I doubt the AFL will agree to it.

There's still plenty of other sport to watch in the off season which will mostly be cricket and EPL for me, maybe some NFL too.

A T20 series between Australia and NZ kicks off next week, hopefully the Black Caps can win that to add to the All Blacks win.

Lot of touring acts the next few months, won't have much time to breathe. Up next for me is Sigh/Ascended Dead/Mournful Congregation at Max Watts in a couple of weeks. Stacked triple bill is stacked.

It's definitely worth it, I don't go to the movies much either as it's mostly just dumb blockbuster superhero reboots and sequels.

The last movie I saw at the cinema was Elio with my little 8 year old nephew, he isn't a cheap date though, I paid for everything.

No, I'm not making any of that up. It is a genuine thing. I remember one got closed down a few years ago until they had gotten rid of the rodent infestation.

Filthy places. Done with them. Get a decent home cinema system to get better picture and sound. Plus you can pause it if you need to take a piss.
