Patrikios and Simpson are the boring obvious ones. Watson spent most of the 4th quarter in the middle this past weekend. Amber Clarke continues to get the odd CBA here and there. Alana Gee mentioned as available on the injury report.I don't want many of the Saints games. Who takes Richards' spot in the middle now that she's out? Patrikos go back into CBAs or someone else?
Thanks. Was tossing up TLR or Watson - obviously if Watson plays even 1/2 a game in the middle (especially as their next 2 games are GWS and collingwood) there's a big upside therePatrikios and Simpson are the boring obvious ones. I checked the two CBAs after Richards went off and they were both Clarke/Smith/Watson.Thanks. Was tossing up TLR or Watson - obviously if Watson plays even 1/2 a game in the middle (especially as their next 2 games are GWS and collingwood) there's a big upside there

Yeah agreed. Leaning TLR just for consistency but I have much bigger issues than either of those players!I checked the two CBAs after Richards went off and they were both Clarke/Smith/Watson.
My personal feeling is that Watson won't play middle. She's just such a valuable player as an interceptor and a rebounder. I think the only reason she was in there was we were chasing such a ridiculous lead. Trudgeon was at FF at one point. We were trying all sorts of things.
If you've got the money, I don't think there's a wrong answer between TLR and Watson. TLR basically plays as a defensive mid anyway.
can you get Chaplin?Ideally
Dunlop to Steele-Park (more expensive but better bench cover and should make some cash over next few weeks which would be handy)
Zanker to TSmith (hoping for pop scores with Brissy’s fixtures)
Then upgrade Kearney.
But won’t be able to get TLR / Watson.
One option is a 300k rookie and get one of them.
Other is to go instead with
1. Same rookie move
2. Kearney to Gutknecht
3. Zanker to Window
Woodland to Window looks good.View attachment 2443600
NFI what to do here as per usual, but now only $18k in the bank and a host of NPP's haha!
But Woodland to Window looks to be the ticket to getting coin to use elsewhere. Just unsure how best to use the $169k it will give me to play with. Using it on Butler doesn't net me anyone decent as F5, even if I punted Torpey to a $300k ruck to give me an extra $74k (for a total of $690k as a replacement for Butler)
Or do I simply sideways a Barnett to a Molloy, and downgrade Butler to a cashcow like SS-P? (across any line)
^^^Would you guys trade Simpson early over Dunlop to get TLR over Chaplin with Hodder?
I'm 8k short trading Dunlop to get TLR... Simpson still has cash to make but feel like TLR has the better matchup this week.

Team would look like this, imo nearly perfect, then go Koenen > Chaplin next week, and Barnett to Molloy in 2 weeks or so, Scholz to Wales whenever.

I spent a bit looking at this trade, and see it as a complete coin flip. I think Tilly scores better this week than she probably will for the rest of the season, but it'll be on par cash wise with Chaplin.^^^
I need help with this trade lmao, trade Simpson early to get TLR or trade Dunlop and get Chaplin first then TLR next week
I'm on the Blackburn train with you. I'm hoping it is a smooth ride.I spent a bit looking at this trade, and see it as a complete coin flip. I think Tilly scores better this week than she probably will for the rest of the season, but it'll be on par cash wise with Chaplin.
I'd get TLR in, mainly because I don't trust Dal. But you're making much better decisions than I am, case in point, meet my shiny new M5:

Yeah if i had the extra 8k id be getting TLR and it would make it so much easierI spent a bit looking at this trade, and see it as a complete coin flip. I think Tilly scores better this week than she probably will for the rest of the season, but it'll be on par cash wise with Chaplin.

One that might be worth a look is Georgia Gee. Essendon small forward coming up against Melbourne isn't ideal, but she's dropped so far that she's basically rookie priced. She's averaged 50+ most seasons, so she's pretty significantly underpriced if that's her norm.Or do I simply sideways a Barnett to a Molloy, and downgrade Butler to a cashcow like SS-P? That's one of the players I would have suggested to him. Could pop out a 60, but maybe only 30, who knows. One that might be worth a look is Georgia Gee. Might be more of a next week play, since the injury-affected 8 will stay in her cycle for another week, but it is one to ponder. Her floor is pretty bad, though - she does have a non-injury-affected 28 this year and had two low-30s scores last year.
Simpson and Dunlop have basically the same BE and Dunlop has the more stable role. There's a possibility that Simpson gets a CBA bump with the Richards injury, but, as I pointed out elsewhere, it was actually Clarke that got CBAs after Richards was injured. I'd tend to agree that it's a coin flip.^^^

I was looking at Gee as a way to get Bacon up to TLR, but I've opted against it because I really want to get Window in. It means I'm weighing up Heath, Richardson, Thomas etc and not coming up with any clear answers. That's one of the players I would have suggested to him. Could pop out a 60, but maybe only 30, who knows.
Then he still has enough cash to upgrade the rookie defender, I think.
Yeah Simpson and Dunlop will be going this and next week, it just depends on what order, my only reason for wanting to hold Simpson one more as she will make more cash this week.Simpson and Dunlop have basically the same BE and Dunlop has the more stable role. Getting TLR in does seem worth an early move. Getting in as many of those $1M DEFs as you can will be a decent POD versus the rest of the top-50.
I'm not in love with the Hodder move, but that may just be PTSD on my part from Hodder's aggressive mediocrity last year when a lot of us owned her. Form has been good, role is better than it was and the upcoming matchups look solid. I just don't know that she's worth the extra $250K versus Window.
It's not that TLR themselves is a POD. It's more that I expect it to be rare that anybody has been able to get in more than one of TLR/Watson/Chaplin (throw Gay into the mix since she's expected back this week). Goodwin should cross the $1M mark this week. If McLaughlin can get back to form and you can turn Koenen into one of the $1M players next week, I think your DEF as a whole will be a massive POD versus the rest of the comp.Agree on TLR is owned by half the top 50 and i expect that to go up this week so not as PODish as you'd think...
True that. Navigating the mind of Lauren Arnell is an absolute nightmare. I'm fully expecting to have to dump Woodland next week (would have been this week but for Richards). I'm holding on the hope that Woodland doesn't get shunted off to the forward line to put up 30s again....Ports run for mids is harder and its more so the uncertainty of Woodlands/Windows role in the mids with the swapping/changing constantly.
