Yes I know I quoted myself, but…. just want to say, you’ll find some ‘Prime Cuts’ there 😉
Prime cuts?? Or morsels of deli meat?? 🤦‍♀️

At Baghdad we go bear bare on Thursday, gotta love Pants off Thursday,
don’t think the neighbours are impressed though. 🥴
At the Wonders every Thursday, everyone does their weekly change of both sheets and pants.
We always change our pants despite occasionally not changing our sheets.

With the money we've saved from the weekly pants change, we can afford to cross-subsidise Prime Cuts in our meat pies and sausage rolls.

Been out in the Sun for awhile 🥴
I’m more concerned why his nose is so close to our prime cuts!

So that's where my last week's clean sheet is!
Have you finished with it yet?

There must be a name for ppl who like to smell sheets?

After Round 13 … prime numbers, prime positions New
We’re up to the last 2 games where the double-ups play out. Every team has played all the others once.

Good time to check the indicators in the prime positions

Hitouts

dogs105 - Wonders - 169

The Wonders ruckman has lead the hitouts this season and given silver service to their mids. No doubt he’s hoping to start their engine room firing in the finals

TRUMAN#1 - Furies - 155

Combined with his fast hands, the Furies tall-man has many seasons of experience in the midfield and it shows

TY24 - Hawks - 150

Kicks

Loonerty - Hawks - 157

The East Side wingman loves a torpedo and has hit his stride in the 2nd half of the season. The Hawks lucky charm has been one of the drivers of their recent dominance

tomcruise - Demons - 148

For a first-year he’s a natural playmaker and can hit a target from a distance. Got sticky hands too

beez - Gumbies - 139

HARPSichord - Wonders - 139

Marks

Dizzy - Dragons - 79

He’s played a high HalfForward role to a tee this season and has kicked 17 goals mostly running back towards goal with his speed

BallaratBulldog - Wonders - 73

MWPP - Bears - 69

tomcruise - Demons - 69

The Demons centreman plays the linkup well with his high marking as well as his kicking

Handballs

Orange crush - Furies - 161

The Furies midfielder accumulates disposals like no-one else. Defensive-minded he covers a lot of ground around the wings and blankets his opponents

TRUMAN#1 - Furies - 147

Has an elite awareness of where his teammates are and is lightning fast getting it to them

Ulahoopski - Royals - 141

Tackles

This one could go down to the wire!

Crimson Azure - Royals - 80

Tough and attacking, the Royals tagger has attitude and is rarely beaten. He tackles with clinical precision.

Cadsky - Royals - 77

Combining well with Cadsky the Royals have a deadly one-two onball punch

supercheap - Gumbies - 77

Goals

Mooch - Roys - 65

The Roys spearhead has been on another level this season, never looking troubled and will be integral to their finals campaign

BFew - Wonders - 53

3rd the previous season in the Fred Medal and should be thereabouts again.

ShaunDuggan - Furies - 52

DT points

Could be a tight finish as well

DERRINALPHIL - Roys - 1064

Doesn’t get the most hitouts, but the Roys bigman does everything well. 11 goals, 47 tackles and 269 disposals says he works hard all round

tomcruise - Demons - 1037

TRUMAN#1 - Furies - 1030

Congratulations to the teams that have made the finals … and good luck!

ALL-SFA Primer - end of H&A season New
IMG_4641.gif

The final instalment of Prime Cu*tsfor S40 serves as a primer for clubs seeking to nominate their players for the ALL-SFA Team.

Making the top of the list in some statistics can ensure a spot in the team, but only if the player has met minimum posting requirements (15-20 posts/wk).

Some players were fortunate enough to make top 3 in more than one category, but again it’s of no help unless you post enough to qualify.

The biggest surprise was how many who ranked elite in their category didn’t post enough this season to be eligible.

Here’s how it all panned out …

*Hitouts
*Kicks
*Marks
*Handballs
*Tackles
*Disposals
*Goals
*DreamTeam points

Saying I haven't posted enough is a great thing.

That's what everyone else prefers from me.

I should be a lock for All SWEET FA selection.

I am the best RUCK in the Sweet F.A. No doubt about it.
I was genuinely surprised.

You must be posting elsewhere in the media rather than in matchthreads
