Unless the club feels their experience and abilities can help the VFL team win a premiership

To me the big thing that is happening recently is what our draft haul will look like.
If Young gets traded for a good pick - Dogs 10, then we should take another good pick to this draft - end about 15.
If we split one of our early picks then we have 4 first rounders this year.

So then we need 6 main list places - 4 1sts, Kellaway and upgrade Seth.

Sort of crazy that we might be in that sort of spot after the 2025 haul.


And, of course, if WC blow up their compo then we have picks 2 and 3 for real. ... please do it.

Sure but I clearly remember the same being said about Miller and Young in the last couple of years.

Maybe not by me, I loved Miller since the day he played on Geelong's Hawkings in one of his first games. Then, for some reason, DH decided to play him everywhere else but the FB line. Young his first season for us was brilliant. The second season wasn't so good, but I forgive him since he hurt his knee.

I’m critical of his attitude but I liked how he finished off the season

he should be looking to break into the midfield, has the skills to hit Armstrong and Faull on the ****ing tit coming out the square

just needs an attitude adjustment

Reckon thr fact Dow has been told to wait for a contract rests on whether Sonise is on the list imo.

Rather Dow given he looks like he cares every time he plys and cracks in. Sonsie just looks like he just goes through the motions a lot of the time.

It’s not as if they are all of sudden going to improve out of sight they are just list cloggers I say piss them off as well

He’s been in the system for 4 years and there’s a strong argument that he’s not in our best 22. With that in mind, I’d say it’s time we move him on. He’s not hard enough, he lacks leg speed and he turns it over when under pressure. He’s not elite and I don’t believe he has the attributes to be a role player given his physical limitations.
