Gippsland Power exodus at the Suns this off season? Flanders, Ainsworth and Humphrey all from that neck of the woods. Strange co-incidence.

Humphrey at the Copeland? Are you able to share? That seems crazy in both its levels of stupidity and ballsyness.Jay Clark reporting that met with Collingwood and Melbourne. At Copeland last night the word was it went very well
Humphrey meeting with Collingwood went very well apparently

The advantages that matter are the one's that make you a better team. Pies get given clear off field advantages they probably have a small impact on recruiting. Northern advantages are much bigger in terms of being a good teamNo, I am right. You can't claim that some clubs are given better deals than others if you don't look at the entire way the clubs are treated. Some get better drafting rules (academies, father sons etc), some get better TV rights and better fixtures. Tasmania is about to get sign-on bonuses. Take it all into account.

Maybe not after fly's speech lolJay Clark reporting that met with Collingwood and Melbourne. At Copeland last night the word was it went very well
Agreed, but it’s such a fine balancing act. They need something to counter the advantage we get it’s just gone too far with the academies. I don’t have a solution BTW because if the acquisition cost becomes overly prohibitive does the game suffer? Alternatively you’ve got people like Matthews spouting absolute bullshit about the numbers of representation from the northern states and suggesting they need to rise whilst simultaneously retaining priority access. Essentially he wants SOO teams out of the northern states…The advantages that matter are the one's that make you a better team. I reckon if he goes anywhere it will be to Melbourne for TrachHumphrey meeting with Collingwood went very well apparently
Me too with the optimism. Partially because I'm much more optimistic about Jordy than most seem to be.So I was coming in here to post that I'm still optimistic for next season and if we "only" lose Mihocek but bring in Buller, Blight and see improvement from Houston, Long, Bobby and some of the kids, I still back us for Top 4.
That said, now I want Humphry and feel like he's the difference for us in going further next season.
How does it work for us? Do we have to seek permission from the AFL to trade future picks? I recall Port having to do this with Horne-Francis and they allowed it given his age.
I think far too much is being read into his speech. Pretty uneventful to me. Prob would regret his Brownlow comment but it’s not a big dealMaybe not after fly's speech lol

Can we trade future flags? I'd happily trade 45 of our flags in the next 100 years for 4 in the next decade. So I was coming in here to post that I'm still optimistic for next season and if we "only" lose Mihocek but bring in Buller, Blight and see improvement from Houston, Long, Bobby and some of the kids, I still back us for Top 4.

I think this years brownlow was the most open. Any of the top 5 would have deserved to win. There was no clear front runner. Why? Rowell is a gun but didn't deserve to win. I hope we don't rewrite history and all pretend he was the best player in 2025.
Did nick “deserve” to win? Out of all his seasons this is probably one he didn’t “deserve” toSurely Humphrey sees Trac as a player

FixedFly makes a joke about Brownlow = everyone outraged
Sniff continuously acting hostile towards women = Geelong protected species - do not disturb
Most AFL fans in a nutshell.
Are you comparing his 2026 to 24-25 or 23? I’d be surprised if he gets through hell year at his best without Aisha looking after him extremely well!Me too with the optimism. Partially because I'm much more optimistic about Jordy than most seem to be.
