He's an X factor player. Inconsistent yes, but when he's on he can win a game off his boot. Won us the Grand Final ffs. I compare him to Rankin.. when Rankin is out Adelaide stink. When Hill has been out, Collingwood have been awful.

I don't think Collingwood take the risk of keeping him around and have him potentially lose his way next year, or even in the pre season.

I think it will come out in the next week or so that he will be moving back to WA, and to Collingwoods credit, they will help get it done.

I personally couldn't be away from my young children, but sounds like there's a fair few that are okay with that in here (see that Geelong guy who said he stays at Collingwood or retires - presenting those as the two only genuine options lol).

Freo have had multiple chances to have a crack at him and have said no every time, so doubt they will this time either regardless of what happens.
