Re: 'Alleged' rumours resurfacing ...

Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

Thanks all!

Articles/commentary about Naicos leaving Filth show that trade period goes for far, far too long... Too many journos with too much time on their hands.
How it ever got extended past one business week is beyond me but we have to drag it out for Trade Radio, deadline day on Fox Footy etc.
Yep

Should only be Monday-Friday

These guys already have months leading into trade period to hash out all the details before officially signing off on deals

Why? Because it can’t be CC’s fault?

Think about the final game in 22 when we lost to Collingwood. Curnow plays on in last quarter when we are leading instead of taking his full 30 seconds. Every AFL player knows what to do in this situation. But apparently not CC.

Did he humbly promise his teammates not to do it again or continue to do it time and time again in coming years? Anyone that watches Carlton knows the answer to that.

To the stage where Voss and Cripps ripped him in front of others and he sooked it up.

I would not have Voss as coach so not going to stick up for him but blaming him as not good at relationships when literally every other player talks about his skill in this area is just CC being CC.
It's amazing how that play is stuck in all our minds. 3 key moments in that last quarter haunt me, that one, the Cripps mark that wasn't paid 20 metres out after I think a ridiculous free called on SOS, and the 3rd one is I think durdin??? trying to kick it onto the pocket instead of trying to kick it straight to the goal line to at least force a rushed point

or he has lost belief that we will challenge for a premiership in the near future, rumoured not to be alone in this thought?
I thought the logical assumption was that the majority of his concerns was injury management and that he was sometimes asked to play when he believed that he shouldn't. Strangely enough he doesn't seem to gave taken into account that the club looked after him well during the two years where he was unable to play due to injury and then gave him a long term contract when there was every chance that he could succumb to injury at any time. To me it would seem (at least in this case) that looking after player/club is a one way street in Charlie's eyes.

Didn’t Charlie attempt an around the corner snap from about 15 metres out which was marked on the goal line in that game against Collingwood? Such a brainless football player.

Durd’s to CC in the pocket..
