What would be your (realistic) best deal with Sydney, keeping in mind they’re the most likely trade partner?

That’s the thing me personally none of their players interest me (outside of their top 4-5 players) and their picks don’t interest me either because they will be much better next year if they get him. Id walk away, but if Sydney are to get Charlie it has to involve a third club.

I’ve always thought the Suns were the best outcome in any Charlie trade.

I doubt the Aints have the collateral or cash or willingness to pay the younger sibling what they are paying Sam nevertheless my comment was based on two things: 1. We need a partner for Weitering and 2. In the context of a curnow deal I would entertain DeKoning as a viable part of it- same for the Suns bloke- everyone is in a lather over the smalll forward/mid with some leg speed - but nothing beats a raging bull who can kick goals and is hungry to prove a point - hence jed.- I have liked everything I see in him in watching real games.

In fact the more I think about it - the more keen I am on him.

To be fair, players who are mates but play for different clubs often train together this time of the year so it's not unusual. Agree on both of them being pea hearts, I'd add pea brain as well.
So is there a world where we keep CC or has that ship sailed?

Agree, 2 guys with the world at their feet, having a kick - nothing wrong with that.

Jeremy Cameron was a restricted free agent and still got 3 first round picks.

Charlie is contracted for 4 years and if true we are accepting 2 picks in the teens and Hayward who is a good player.

We have been adamant the whole way thru we want A grade talent back if we were to even entertain any deal for Charlie so if we accept that deal we have caved and capitulated in my opinion.

We can say NO and walk away, we hold all the power. Not the swans and not Charlie and his manager.
