happy to name the other club? i think were still pretty early in the off season, some people are happy to sign, and some clubs also rush these decisions too I believe, some don't care who they sign, and others have pretty solid Club foundations that probably narrow who they talk to also. the ones that are looking to build on what they have may be the ones to look out for , Laharum going about things well, although a few older fellas still carrying a lot of the weight! Nati lost a few back to saints already Showing you can't force or buy loyalty. Kaniva I'm sure will pick up a couple more traveller's , but who knows. Hearing Pimp may have lost a couple/few? but not sure on Pickups either. Kalkee Signing of Smith is big , makes there team look totally differnt , interesting to see if any other ex players or new players head back. T/Lake started well with roberts signing, see what happens with them from here on in may lose a couple too ? Not hearing a lot out of Rup , Harrow or Noradj , anyone got info ?

Have not heard on the bottom clubs in the last statement, Nati were the club i was referring to should have probably just named them. Laharum seem to be active on the threads, picked up the brother to a key player on their list and a Big Key Forward from Melbourne. Also believe them and Kaniva are in negotiations with many travelling players. Interesting to see what unfolds. I should remind myself, activity or no activity on socials isnt the be all end all.

Nati I thought were meant to be losing not gaining. That’s a big pick up if true. Make a world of a difference in the bigger games having him rather than their current stocks which are not much.

I find it strange clubs or players can recruit and accept without knowing who’s in as a coach. But that’s an enormous get as stated. Be exciting to see as it’s exactly a need for what they are lacking.

The forward signing from Laharum? Or is there someone else as haven’t checked or seen socials if posted. Argall is a bit long in the tooth but ability is clear as day. Could both play forward and kick many between them? Not many 1-2 backs can go with 2 A forwards?

If Whelan is going on the path then he’d be somewhere else in Melbourne and affiliated with that club for the foreseeable future wouldn’t he?

Butch still one of the best forwards in the league even at his age, don’t think laharum would wanna lose him, seem to be going all in at a flag push.
Wheelan potentially play school footy in melb but travel back to play seniors and finals for laharum? Then rebels 2027?

Is he confirmed as going round again? If so be a slow forward line the delivery would want to come out in front. 3 talls including recruit. And 2
Over the age of 35.

Caulfield I’m pretty sure. Hell probably get a few rebels games but surely hed be better off playing junior footy in Melbourne than for laharum. Would genuinely be better competition.

Top 4 will be good again and internally be good matchups between them, but the gap from top to bottom is genuinely non competitive. Fly ins and travel ins for those games will be doing it for the $ only. Shame really.

well he is only u16's rebels meaning they only play 3 games... but the standard down in melbourne would be a dramatic jump... mind you a lot can happen until next season and we can only guess

But haven’t they signed a ruck? Or the forward apparently playing ruck. I can’t keep up here. Either way they are big contested but slow. And with warmer weather out here in the league it could be faster decks again if the rain stays away as drainage some places is shocking as we know. Faster the deck, more risk.

I know they've signed Fenner , but someone above believes there's a ruckman coming too , If butch plays on , their forward line consists of Argall (40) Butsch (43) Matthews (38) i have no dramas with age but they will need to find youth one day , and its a long season

Argall and fenner will kick 100+ between them if there’s a ruckman coming too. But you could
Almost argue they’re too tall unless he’s a young athletic one.

Issue is pace, like many in the HDFL.
