Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Unless the player is like 18-20, if a player is constantly being dropped and in and out of a senior side, the club letting him go can't really expect to get much back. Like they are trying to claim he is awesome when they have demonstrated by their actions they don't rate him.

I think it'd be floated for both and see who bites first. West Coast seem to be playing nicer for Chesser (who is worth more) then WB for Buku, so think that'll get done first.

We can't really afford to give up much for Buku. I doubt we'd have him pencilled in as best 22.

Tbf, Rowbottom is nimbler, quicker first steps and faster than MK. If MK were all of those things, he wouldn’t have been traded.

I don’t mind it as part of a package. He’s a good player, lays tackles and raises standards.

Not really. They’re short on small forwards after cutting most of theirs, and they likely see more value in bringing a somewhat established local talent back home than in holding onto 29 (that may blow out further) - especially in a draft widely considered weak. Plus, they’ve already been turned down by most of the other targets they’ve pursued.

Also - his value is at a high since he became a mark of the year nominee in round 7.

Worse because Kennedy can play forward. In Rowbottom you'd have another guy that can only be a CBA mid.

Here is a rumour from left field - Craig McRae to the Blues in 2026. Not sure if he is to replace or support Vossy.

I personally don't believe it, but it came from someone who is highly respected in Australian sport. The bloke has an OAM and a lot of contacts. Not the type I would be expecting to spread BS. He went on to say things are impoding at the Lexus Centre and that Fly and Leppa are at war with each other. This last piece is my favourite part of the rumour!
