Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

I think you're being a bit harsh. He's a solid B grader with at least 4 decent years of footy ahead of him. Also gets on the park consistently which is important.

I see him as an upgrade on Durdin (who isn't gonna get a game anyway) and replaces EH in the squad.

Not the end of the world as your making it out to be, but not amazing either. His best is great, his bad is..yeh bad.

Agree. Chesser trade was good. Ainsworth was a terrible decision. Next years draft is very good. Can't understand why we would trade away a second rounder which could be low 20s next year.

It is not often that a team is on the wrong side of a deal with GCS, but here we are. Pick 29 for a soon to be 28 yr old, goal a game player that struggles to finish well.

Not sure how trading away a F2 helps with securing CW. Next year seems a strong draft so would have been handy regardless. Effectively got rid of Durdin for nothing. Hopefully he at least gets an extra year out of it. Mots is going to be lonely.

Might be tough to get Buku.

The best part of this is that if we can't get a deal for Curnow, we've at least added some outside run and quality kicking talent to the list.

If we have to retain Charlie they might actually be able to hit him on the chest for the first time in 5 years.
