The Bay has been a lot of fun, but its an organic entity and nothing lives forever.

It was a decent training ground in its day, and funny a lot of the time. You need a load of young people to keep these things afloat and they are on discord these days, or tiktok reels.

I miss Shawt, FIGJAM, a few others. I laughed at so much at the "sexual positio b a named after players" and "players dating profile" threads. The image of Laidley "maintaining an erection through sheer force of will" (this was 15 years ago) may have been divorced from reality but it makes me smile to this day.

The Bay may die, but it will live on when any of us do a little trolling. Anytime we post a backhanded compliment, or lay a trap.

You can be the Bay you want to see in the world. The rumour board is a good place for a little Bay spirit. I bring a little Bay to the Blues vs Pies thread on the MB.

I even Bay in the Bay, not the real Bay 13 but in the Ponsford, when I call out to Tasmanian players " at your wedding did all the guests sit on the left, or all on the right?"
