I know people want to be positive when it comes to ACL injuries to young players, like they can hit the gym hard (same stuff was said about Jagga). But the best development for a young player is being on the field playing. HOF most likely wouldn’t be in the gym any more than he would have been if he wasn’t injured. Same goes with Jagga.

CORRECT.

The issue with young players is that when they come back, they are so far off the pace, it takes them 12 months to get the confidence and game speed back, as well as losing 12 months of experience.

This. Best development for young players is getting games into them.

Its an utter disaster, don't kid yourselves. Both players now 1 year behind where they should be at a time when we can least afford it :(

I think we all know that but some of us just trying to be a bit 'glass half-full'.

I hope that Hof can take a similar approach to his injury that Thilthorpe did. Use this as an opportunity to hit the gym, hard, and become physically ahead of most 20 yr old KPP players, allowing him to be able to have an even bigger impact than he otherwise might have.
Yep Thilthorpe turned into a monster while he was injured.

Knowles worked with the Gold Coast Suns a couple of years back and they couldn't have had better things to say about him if they tried.

Has helped get Ben King up and going especially.

Same specialist Docherty saw in 2019 too I believe. I don't think he ruptured that knee again (did the other one.)

Watching the post match vision in the rooms after our win over the bombers, could have even been port, cotts was wandering around still in a moon boot!!!
I was very surprised as I would have thought he would have been well past surgery if he’s had it.
I guess navicular doesn’t mean surgery necessarily but either way that is a long time since his last game for the season.

Voss did point out the he was hoping to get most of the boys out on the track mode preseason and mentioned cotts specifically so finger’s crossed
