Dimma handled Dusty pretty well, maybe he brings him in for a chaperone role.
What did Dusty ever do that he needed to be "Handled?"

I would assume it will be some form of swap with BuderickThere has been so much talk of the Dogs just wanting him off the list even if it was a payout, which is why I’m wondering what his value is. Seems like probably next to nothing?

ITKs suggest we tried to pay him out and delist him earlier in the season however the AFL blocked it.The talk of Bulldogs paying some of JUH contract I find odd, I am no employment lawyer however surely he has breached his employment conditions by failing to show up for work, I am sure they would have issued him the appropriate 'warnings' and could terminate, the only reason they haven't would be hoping to receive some trade return but that is now looking like it will be minimal.
I don't think we will or plan too. Either we can tear up his contract through a breach (AFL don't want this) or he renegotiates with Gold Coast separately and tears up the existing contract. The talk of Bulldogs paying some of JUH contract I find odd, I am no employment lawyer however surely he has breached his employment conditions by failing to show up for work, I am sure they would have issued him the appropriate 'warnings' and could terminate, the only reason they haven't would be hoping to receive some trade return but that is now looking like it will be minimal.
Question marks around King and Walter. And if it ticks a Dimma passion project box as well, so be it.I’m still totally confused as to why the Suns are even looking at him, we have absolutely no need for him at the moment. It’s starting to sound more and more like either a Dimma vanity project or we know that Ben King will be out after this coming season.
If it’s the latter then I can see this as a stop gap measure as Read and Walter continue to gain experience and eventually take over in a couple of seasons
Jamarra is presently in limbo which the AFL wants fixed ASAP. The Suns are an AFL project and there will be inducements involved, you can be sure.I’m still totally confused as to why the Suns are even looking at him, we have absolutely no need for him at the moment. AFL won't allow us to sack him as he was no 1 pick and is indigenous. That's the bottom line..The talk of Bulldogs paying some of JUH contract I find odd, I am no employment lawyer however surely he has breached his employment conditions by failing to show up for work, I am sure they would have issued him the appropriate 'warnings' and could terminate, the only reason they haven't would be hoping to receive some trade return but that is now looking like it will be minimal.
You saw the recent footage of him right? Absolutely miles off it, and his previous form has shown absolutely no willingness to put in the hard yards to change that. And honestly, I never saw much in him even at his so-called peak though I will admit a big part of that opinion is perhaps formed by watching him do three fifths of bugger all in the prelim loss against us.Probably because he is one of the most ridiculously talented players in the competition. If it works out, Suns could boast one of the best forward lines in the competition.
Walter alone has the goods to be every bit as prodigious as Charlie Curnow and you already know what Ugle-Hagan is capable of.
Dimma was coach when Richmond took a punt on Ben Cousins, so perhaps Dimma just has a soft spot for rehabilitating those that play on the edges of life.
And took on Chris Yarran when the whole comp knew he was a crack head.Dimma was also around with the rise and sharp fall of Sydney Stack’s careeer.
I’d be staying well away if I was Gold Coast
Ugle-Hagan’s contract, however, will be heavily incentivised and will also include behavioural clauses, which will give the Suns an option to terminate his deal at the club’s discretion, after the player’s year-long battle with well -documented off-field problems.
Ugle-Hagan’s contract is set to be a heavily incentivised two-year deal, with a minimal amount guaranteed.
The 23-year-old’s playing wage in 2026 will look closer to what he was being paid in his first season after being taken at pick one in the 2020 national draft.
He will, however, have the ability to earn substantially more based on games played, goals kicked and best-and-fairest results.
It’s 200k with performance triggers. If he plays and plays well he can earn moreAFL claiming he is likely to go to the Suns on a 1 year contract with triggers for a 2nd year. Contract is $250k a year.
Which makes zero sense because he gets $900k if he keeps on partying.
So the Dogs are paying heap of it? The AFL are paying a heap of it? Or he is happy to take a massive pay cut in the hope that 2 years from now he gets a huge payrise?
Would need to be massive though.
I guess this means he is actually keen to play football again?

It certainly appears that the AFL have their mitts all over our ability to handle the situation. It's probably going over old ground but I'm still staggered that an employee (which JUH effectively is) doesn't show up for work, clearly doesn't give a stuff about work yet can still get paid his full salary without (it seems) very few ramifications.
And clearly he's laughing at the system that is protecting him.
If ever there was a case of a club sacking a player this is clearly it.
WB supporters must be tearing their hair out that their club can do little about it.
anyone?Sorry guys. I have half followed the JUH story in 2025. But can someone please explain to my why a player of this quality might get to the SUNS for a late token pick?
Is it because hes a flight risk and also the relationship betweenb him and DOGS is severed?
