ITKs suggest we tried to pay him out and delist him earlier in the season however the AFL blocked it.

There's zero trust left. We want him gone.

I don't think we will or plan too. Either we can tear up his contract through a breach (AFL don't want this) or he renegotiates with Gold Coast separately and tears up the existing contract.

There is a small chance we cover some if it allows us a better pick considering we have cap room to burn.

Jamarra is presently in limbo which the AFL wants fixed ASAP. The Suns are an AFL project and there will be inducements involved, you can be sure.

AFL won't allow us to sack him as he was no 1 pick and is indigenous. That's the bottom line..

Dimma was coach when Richmond took a punt on Ben Cousins, so perhaps Dimma just has a soft spot for rehabilitating those that play on the edges of life.

Probably because he is one of the most ridiculously talented players in the competition. If it works out, Suns could boast one of the best forward lines in the competition.
Walter alone has the goods to be every bit as prodigious as Charlie Curnow and you already know what Ugle-Hagan is capable of.

You saw the recent footage of him right? Absolutely miles off it, and his previous form has shown absolutely no willingness to put in the hard yards to change that. And honestly, I never saw much in him even at his so-called peak though I will admit a big part of that opinion is perhaps formed by watching him do three fifths of bugger all in the prelim loss against us.

Strange question - is he a cigarette smoker? Might sound like a strange thing to say about a professional athlete in 2025, but Dayle Garlett was. And I don't know how any non-obese 23 year old could be that unfit without being a smoker. And, you know, most junkies are.

Ugle-Hagan’s contract, however, will be heavily incentivised and will also include behavioural clauses, which will give the Suns an option to terminate his deal at the club’s discretion, after the player’s year-long battle with well -documented off-field problems.

Ugle-Hagan’s contract is set to be a heavily incentivised two-year deal, with a minimal amount guaranteed.

The 23-year-old’s playing wage in 2026 will look closer to what he was being paid in his first season after being taken at pick one in the 2020 national draft.

He will, however, have the ability to earn substantially more based on games played, goals kicked and best-and-fairest results.

This is smart managemnent from the Suns.

It's probably going over old ground but I'm still staggered that an employee (which JUH effectively is) doesn't show up for work, clearly doesn't give a stuff about work yet can still get paid his full salary without (it seems) very few ramifications.

And clearly he's laughing at the system that is protecting him.
