Like every club does, you didn’t get what YOU wanted he’s gone, move on and stop whinging like a two year oldLions weren’t acting like 2 year olds having tantrums we were only looking for a good deal
We traded you the equivalent of pick 5 for Dunkley if you look at the points value. You’re just being bitter because you lost one of your best players. He said in his post, that Adelaide should have offered pick 16 and it would have been OK.
A good deal or fair doesn’t really matter when a player is out of contract. Brisbane has no problem offering unders for out of contract players as they know clubs essentially don’t have a choice. Many Brisbane fans will delight that I should mention the Dunkley trade as the basis of my disgust of Brisbane in this episode. regardless of the team I support, his trade is a quintessential example of Brisbane’s hypocrisy.
Just a spiteful and arrogant club - sabotaged themselves and brought down a two-time premiership hero with them.
No doubt Cal's made a great start at his new club this week. Will be feeling really valued...
Luckily for Adelaide fans they can project their clubs failure onto the Lions for not accepting pick 40 for a 28 year old 2x premiership forward.
I'd love to see some rationale from Adelaide fans about Bernie Vince being traded for pick 23 when he was 28 and out of contract and playing very average football. Yet Cal is isnt worth the same trade?
lol, you brisbane supporters really don't know anything.Sorry son, wrong on all counts there, Academies are funded by the club, father/sons come with no games experience lol, and the AFL doesn't hold our dick it just gives it little tickle every now and again, you know how good that feels yeah

you get access to the Fitzroy father sons, under the 100 game criteria. but sureCrows started 1991 so have 100 game access for all players since then. Lions F/S come from the 2001-03 3peat era. Poor breeding stock clearly!
No it is not,it is funded by the club lollol, you brisbane supporters really don't know anything.
the northern academies are funded by BOTH the club, and the AFL. its a joint venture.
Haha all the Sons of Fitzroy players are retired, get a gripyou get access to the Fitzroy father sons, under the 100 game criteria. but sure
Haha all the Sons of Fitzroy players are retired, get a grip
Does he not have a son, would still be only about 60 if he does, but hey we still have access. We need Kevin Murray to knock up someone and produce a gun kid just to rub it in.
Where did you pull that falsehood from? Are you referring to Browny getting picked up for his father playing over 50 games. That was over 25 years ago and was stopped shortly after. You are a paranoid lot.you get access to the Fitzroy father sons, under the 100 game criteria. but sure
are u talking about the club that finished 30 years ago lolyou get access to the Fitzroy father sons, under the 100 game criteria. but sure
Bolton and Rioli were both contracted. Bolton was a fair trade and GCS throws picks like confetti (they don't value picks just like you guys because of their massive leg up), West Coast gave overs for an uncontracted Baker but they did some strange trade that year even their CEO had to do a press conference to "explain" it.no, thats not how it works or your club would of got pick 40 for baker and not 14
Richmond also got 3 first rounders for Shai Bolton with 1 back
Richmond also got 6 and 23 for rioli
yeah no, you havent had just one, sam marshall, Blake Coleman? these are all recent too... and all in the first roundWe've gotten extremely lucky with father sons... as for academy picks... we've had one 1st rd pick taken through our academy to date... one Eric Hipwood (who most outside of Brisbane think is a spud).
How goods that academy 1st rd pick pipe line...
this was in direct response to the guy who said they only got father sons after 1991, which isnt trueWhere did you pull that falsehood from? Nobody cared about the Lions when we were getting pillaged. We are where we are cos we get our house in order after being a shit club. Sorry about that.
this takes 5 seconds to look this up, like really, you guys dont know anything lolNo it is not,it is funded by the club lol
You missed the point I was making, the poster said that they were happy to let there premiership heroes go….. because they compensated well in all the tradesBolton and Rioli were both contracted. This is hilariously ironic given your comments in the Starcevich thread. Took about a week for you and Senor M to have egg on your face regarding the psd.
One was a fair trade and the others they got lucky. Like the poster said, they would have had to accept any picks for Rioli and Baker especially for Baker as he was uncontracted. You missed the point I was making, the poster said that they were happy to let there premiership heroes go….. because they compensated well in all the trades
Port Power can select him if they can convince him after talking to him. Likely will need to offer slightly over our offer though.I didn't see Adelaide threatening to walk Ah Chee to the PSD; they made multiple offers to him over the week before deadline day
Also--- is it even a guarantee that Ah Chee makes it to the Crows?
IF Damo was our list manager THEN we would be as relevant as his club norfWhat has riled me up over this is the clueless fans blindly cheering this stance. Brisbane has done a lot of things right over the past few years (clearly) but this one is just bad. It’s bad. Honestly can’t believe some are still defending it.
They must be living in a bubble up there as their media don't talk about the AFL, it's all about the Premier Bronco with them treated as less importance than the SANFL Premier here. The media has been smashing them for not doing the trade and these nuffies Brisbane posters are either deluded or coping. Like I said, had we offer a F3 then the media will be smashing us for not offering a fair trade. What has riled me up over this is the clueless fans blindly cheering this stance. Brisbane has done a lot of things right over the past few years (clearly) but this one is just bad. It’s bad. Honestly can’t believe some are still defending it.

Not just him. Twomey was "shock" you guys did do the trade and then there's Edmund, Ralph and Cornes who are usually massive flogs toward us so that's saying something.Lol at anyone who agrees or listens to that tool.
If people agree with Damo THEN they need to check themselves into a psych ward.
Think you will find most of us would have preferred if a deal was reached but can understand why it’s gone the way it has. What has riled me up over this is the clueless fans blindly cheering this stance.
