THIS Ah Chee leaving allowed the LIONS to sign Ashcroft's x2 and Bailey most likely not really sure how him leaving is hurting the Lions
They ain't going to spend that money and risk losing butters

Its not how much Port are prepared to offer butters, its how much other clubs will that port are going to have to try and match to force a trade if he wants back to victoria. There is the real possibility of sides throwing 10 year $20 million + deals his way. But by all means squeeze you cap and take Ah Chee, as you say, its all good and port will be prepared for it even if a million + down in cap due to Ah Chee that they never factored in till nowDon’t know why this keeps getting mentioned. We have a ton of cap space which is evident by the fact we were throwing over 1M a year at NWM this year. We wouldn’t be doing that if it meant we wouldn’t then have the cash to throw at Butters 12 months later.
We obviously didn’t get NAS. That money is still there though and available regardless of how much we had already planned to put to Butters. It’s not like they haven’t planned for his extension when considering NWM this year… or that it would have to have meant one or the other.
I just want to add that we have been thinking about Brisbanes list manager all wrong. He is a generous guy as we offered a good deal and he said no, have him for free instead. What a nice guy.Thread is going nowhere
The only interesting part now is where he goes in the psd

Crows started 1991 so have 100 game access for all players since then. Lions F/S come from the 2001-03 3peat era. Poor breeding stock clearly!Going to say the exact same thing I’ve already said on here. Look at the father son game requirement for SA, now compare that to WA, then to Vic.
Brisbane benefit off the Vic scheme, since they used to be Fitzroy.
Why is one state 200 games, vs 150, vs 100? So yeah, I guess when a father son for that actually plays AFL for Adelaide, which has happened once in history rolls around, I guess that’s too much
How old are you?Club accept slight unders for uncontracted player, Dom "the prick" should be grateful Reid even offered him a fair trade in the first place and then even added a F3 cause Dom "the prick" was being a prick.
Are you under 16? Your comprehension seems off - I have you a three year premiership window.
My bet is 11.How old are you?
I have been wondering the same thing myself for quite sometime. He does seem to post quite a lot so obviously his parents are allowing him/her far too much screen time. How old are you?
You got pick 14 for baker I bet if they offered you around 36 and 54 you would have an issueWe let our Flag heroes get where they want to go without much fuss.
All clubs were involved were respectful.
Didn't seem the case either way in this case.
Lions weren’t acting like 2 year olds having tantrums we were only looking for a good dealWe let our Flag heroes get where they want to go without much fuss.

Just a shitty way to treat a duel Premiership player.Lions weren’t acting like 2 year olds having tantrums we were only looking for a good deal
Doubt it.You got pick 14 for baker I bet if they offered you around 36 and 54 you would have an issue
2 flags not a good deal?Lions weren’t acting like 2 year olds having tantrums we were only looking for a good deal
no, thats not how it works or your club would of got pick 40 for baker and not 14Doubt it.
2 flags for a rookie whatever we got would be cream on top.
You got 2 flags out of Ah Chee.
Goes with your blessing not that hard surely.
what the **** are you on about, they didnt offer pick 162 flags not a good deal?
But like I said the Crows aren't angels in this saga either.
Pick 16 in this years draft for a 2x premiership player is quite fair i think.
And the Powa supporters dipping their oar in not much better actually!!This thread has been both entertaining and utterly embarrassing from both parties.
Bolton & Rioli were contracted so we had the upper hand.no, thats not how it works or your club would of got pick 40 for baker and not 14
Richmond also got 3 first rounders for Shai Bolton with 1 back
Richmond also got 6 and 23 for rioli
You wanted 16 lolwhat the **** are you on about, they didnt offer pick 16
they offered a future second
what the **** are you on about, they didnt offer pick 16
they offered a future second
This is the ah Chee thread not the 2022 dunkley thread that was 3 years ago, you also got future first and 21 sounds pretty decent to meHe said in his post, that Adelaide should have offered pick 16 and it would have been OK.
A good deal or fair doesn’t really matter when a player is out of contract. Brisbane has no problem offering unders for out of contract players as they know clubs essentially don’t have a choice. Many Brisbane fans will delight that I should mention the Dunkley trade as the basis of my disgust of Brisbane in this episode. regardless of the team I support, his trade is a quintessential example of Brisbane’s hypocrisy.
Just a spiteful and arrogant club - sabotaged themselves and brought down a two-time premiership hero with them.
