Why would we be sending ANYONE to the US right now? crazy.

He's a young, white male. He will be okay. Just make sure his social media has been scrubbed.

What's with all the 'white male' talk? Am I on Reddit? Can we stick to footy?

In fairness, Jagga is going to the US for footy related reasons, and someone was concerned about his safety, given the political climate. The answers probably aren't intended to be political, mine wasn't. It's just a reality at present.

gee

first run back

I knew achilles injuries were shit, but that is worse than i thought
As I've already said quite a few times... it's 15-18 months before he'll be 100% back. And I reckon that the club will take the slow burn option on bringing him back. I'm hoping that he's back after the bye.

Better to take it slow and do it right. An extra half season on the sidelines is preferable to doing it all again down the road.

If we'd given Kreuzer a couple more months after his ACL, he wouldn't have spent 2012 having his knee drained every other week, and he wouldn't have had knee, hip, ankle, and foot issues in his later years. We would have possibly got a couple more years out of him. Our whole medical recovery and rehab setup was screwed.

Achilles are worse than ACL - look how long it has taken Williams to get back to some sort of running form and he isnt a leaper like Kemp is...2026 is going to be ( or should be) a very careful recovery uyear-dont expect much - fingers crossed for Kempy tbh.

Achilles is comfortably the worst "regulation" injury you can get. I say regulation, meaning aside from freak injuries like horrific breaks etc.

Truly the worst and is more like a 2-2.5 yr injury. Being fit to play is one thing, but it's at least another year before you're actually back to your physical best.
