Would rather take 2 mids with 3 and 4. We got Gray, Miller, Broad, grimes and more from late draft picks and rookies.
Seems it's easier find defenders then other positions

Agree with his reasoning. Don't need to fix the midfield this off season when there is likely better options next year and still the likes of Smilie, Lalor and Hotton who haven't played there yet. Possibly bank Taylor who not going to be a superstar could be consistent defender who plays 200-250 games and we look back at it as a smart pick in a draft where I expect a lot players won't make it past years 3 and 4. I don't however see Taylor being an attacking weapon.

My head is spinning from all this draft talk now I have to admit. We have another 11 days of speculation and rumours to go. Honestly it really should be next week and I do have to ask why so long into November AFL? What valid reasons is the draft so late into November? It's a Fecking joke... The draft needs to be straight after the Flemington carnival, then the recruits can at least get a full preseason and we are all a little bit less crazy.

Dee's F1 with our F2 going back - But they would have to be desperately in love with that player available

I didn't suggest we would get a F1 from Essendon... would love to get a Dees F1 but they'd only give us the GC one anyway.

I'd be happy with Kickett and any of Duff-Tyler, Robey , Patterson, Uland and Annabal .
We should bid on all those players with our first pick in my view.
I think any below those players are a tier down.
