I just did a quick search. It seems expensive. Maybe a three hour stop off would be worth it. Never had a problem with it before.

As I said I woud be flying into Milan so the train from Rome would probably negate that.

The flights are relatively well priced and the advantage is the convenience of being able to fly directly to the destination instead of having to stopover elsewhere. A stopover instead of flying direct to London adds about three and a half hours to the journey and other destinations will be even longer, so this just lengthens your travel time. Stopovers of three hours or less can be risky if flights are delayed, so this needs to be taken into consideration when booking multiple connecting flights.

Flight is as good if not better than Emirates, airport is spacious and very nice, but a little soulless. Ive been a couple of times now, the food court is pretty meh but the new garden is nice. Can get quite busy though thanks to all the transitting.

Wife, 1 year old and I are flying Emirates home for Xmas (home for me) in a month, hopefully the 1 year old survives it!
