I remember when they started showing The Sullivans early hours of the morning as well as other old shows. The parents would be coming home from a night out and I’d watch a few of the shows.

Crazy times.

Just missed out on the share shows time but I am throwing this beauty in:

You like Games of Thrones? You like causing young children existential dread and bringing them face to face with their own mortality? Well do I have a show for you!

When the Animals of Farthing Wood came out in '93, there was a lack of childrens programming that really explored grusome deaths of woodland creatures. The whole series has a clear, crisp focus on causing maximum trauma with no character being safe at any time.

KIck back and relax to the viewing delights of "the hunter shot my bird wife and now I am going to let him finish me off", "shrike killing a family" and "panic attack on the highway and my wife staying with me to die together" all before even getting to Farthing Wood!

Brilliant show. Hated the Owl, the little know it all.

Found one.

Oh hey, I'd forgotten about Itsmyshow

Fook, just reminded me of Prisoner Cell Block H. Might have been the 1st time I understood what a lesbian was.

Do you know the Australian actor, James Frecheville? He done a film about the famine and played a native speaker who returns from Afghanistan fighting for the British. I'm not a huge movie buff but the performance was epic. According to IMDB he hasn't been in anything of note since - except for maybe Masters of Air, but haven't watched that yet.

Never heard of him all the movie, might have to look it up.

And I bet none of the screws saw anything.

Now I’m waiting for your favourite sons and daughters moment.
When they found out they were brother and sister

The story follows a Romeo and Juliet style romance of two twins separated at birth, who meet twenty years later who fall in love not realizing they are siblings.

They released it during Covid. Hugo Weaving and Barry Keoghan are in it as well.
I always find it funny how things can completely slip by you and you’ve never heard of them.

Is it streaming anywhere?

And yes, I am being lazy rather than searching myself.

It’s funny what holidays/travel can do.

I went to Daylesford for a few days and had some really good Istra bacon. I spent a lot of money buying some but fortunately I make my own bacon at home which saved you from spending a fortune buying a heap of it.

It is magnificent though.

SPAM is one of my secret shames, I love it! Kraft singles are another. Cheese on toast and when it turns black is a thing of beauty.
