Just missed out on the share shows time but I am throwing this beauty in:
You like Games of Thrones? You like causing young children existential dread and bringing them face to face with their own mortality? Well do I have a show for you!
When the Animals of Farthing Wood came out in '93, there was a lack of childrens programming that really explored grusome deaths of woodland creatures. The whole series has a clear, crisp focus on causing maximum trauma with no character being safe at any time.
KIck back and relax to the viewing delights of "the hunter shot my bird wife and now I am going to let him finish me off", "shrike killing a family" and "panic attack on the highway and my wife staying with me to die together" all before even getting to Farthing Wood!

Fook, just reminded me of Prisoner Cell Block H. Might have been the 1st time I understood what a lesbian was.I remember when they started showing The Sullivans early hours of the morning as well as other old shows. The parents would be coming home from a night out and I’d watch a few of the shows.
Crazy times.
You're more this type of Captain, you perma boozed up yobbo.
There was the big red haired one, Blanch? who ruled the cell block with an iron fist & put the Anglo looking Sheila's in their place if they got out of line. Probably from our genetic stock GreyCrow
And I bet none of the screws saw anything.View attachment 2475693
My enduring memory is Bea putting someones head in the press iron and - well pressing

Never heard of him all the movie, might have to look it up.Do you know the Australian actor, James Frecheville? He done a film about the famine and played a native speaker who returns from Afghanistan fighting for the British. I'm not a huge movie buff but the performance was epic. According to IMDB he hasn't been in anything of note since - except for maybe Masters of Air, but haven't watched that yet.
We were doing a review of all the classic Aussie soaps. I think it has produced by far the most memorable & bitching ones.Lol, didn’t see this and just mentioned suns and daughters.
When they found out they were brother and sisterAnd I bet none of the screws saw anything.
Now I’m waiting for your favourite sons and daughters moment.
