He needs to fix his kicking technique... high ball drop, bringing his foot up to meet the footy, too much. There's a lot to like about him athletically; he moves superbly for a kid who is 6'5! He could be the tall wingman JT was pining for when he picked Rosman all those years ago.
He has a lot of advantage over smaller kids.Looks all right to me, speed and strength being his best attributes. Recruiters definitely going for quicker athletic types.

He's a super talented kid. That's not the issue.
I'm not intending to tease. Its a little awkward because I don't want to be too critical of a young man who's still growing and maturing on an open forum where he or a family member might read it, but also its just my opinion based on some inside talk and what I've seen this year.Scythe levels of teasing

I'll say this much. I think Riley has all the talent needed to succeed at AFL level if he brings the right mindset to developing his game. He needs to put in a lot of work on his defensive efforts, and he needs to work on his body language when things aren't going his way out on the field.
I think a rookie spot is a perfect place for you guys to have drafted him. There will be less pressure, and you'll get a close look at him without a lot of commitment. If he wants it enough and he puts in the work then he'll be a bargain.
No stress mate
Yep, he looks good to go. Also us a country lad so they're just a bit different to the kids we get in the city.He has a lot of advantage over smaller kids.
Lets see how he competes against fellas his own size. That will tell us a lot about his potential.?
No defensive game and poor body language? There’s a Christian Petracca sized hole at Melbourne. Give the kid number 5 already.I'm not intending to tease.
