We've been waiting for the damn walls to burst, and we've had the 4 poor losses alternating between 3 wins, so it masks the reality.

No moves at the deadline pretty much sumed up our chances - and there was no moves to be made that would have made us better this year. Just need to hope that we can have a decent crack at it without the horrific injuries.

The good today

• Things went well on offence,
• Glock Purdy did well to ignite the passing game.
• Rush got going and we had our biggest rush of 20 yards this year (mins blowing we have rushed more).
• CMC only had 18 touches (13 rush / 5 catches)
• 2 great special teams returns turned into points.
• We had a 200% increase in our interceptions on the year (with another 2 today).
• Kicked 2 FG inside the last minute of the 2nd half
• 41 points, highest in like forever

The not so good

• Pinero missing 2 extra points. And getting a hamstring strain (probably miss time)
• Brissett went 47/57 (NFL record for completions), 452 yards (like a college stat line).
• Giving up 15 catches and 185 yards to Michael Wilson

• 0 sacks. 3 TFL and 4 QB pressures.
• Bethune couldn't go.im the 2nd half. Ankle and probably misses time

Anemic (probably to kind of a word) D. Imagine even needing to look up pressures or tackles for loss to try and find anything good happening on the D Line.

Arizona gave up 17 penalties, 2 terrible returns, 3 turnovers. Basically shot themselves in the foot repeatedly to mean we didn't have to worry too much that the D was pretty much non existent

The D has nothing to get excited about.

Our ability to pressure the passer though is made up for at the back end with missed assignments, 10 yard cushions and missed tackles.

But maybe there is hope with our collection of backup linebackers?

Our schedule makes the record flattering, it was a push up hill to win this year even with Bosa, Warner and Williams healthy. So I'm not upset by not making moves at the trade deadline.

Play the rookies, let them take their punches and see what it looks like next year.
