You beat me to it… I was just about to ask Iridescence — which orders specifically have been illegal?

While you are at it demanding answers for questions you know the answer to how about you answer which sentence in the video said disobey the president's legal orders or legal orders in general? You are the resident expert?

New CDC guidelines

  • The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
  • Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.
  • HHS has launched a comprehensive assessment of the causes of autism, including investigations on plausible biologic mechanisms and potential causal links.

Did you not just post a diatribe about misinformation in the news in the other thread? Ever the selective cynic to suit your agenda Pete!

You’re of course fully aware that it is dishonest and underhanded to try to paint this as 'CDC' guidance.

RFK has admitted (see below article) using his authority to personally direct this particular change outside usual process and without any semblance of robust scientific evidence or expert review to back it (there is no doubt he'd be referencing this if he actually had it).

No, this is RFK guidance, and he is using the CDC as a trusted brand to legitimise and promote his own personal, unscientific ideology and lifelong vendetta to spread misinformation, sow doubt and undermine public trust in vaccines.

The inevitable consequences of this will be increases in entirely preventable illness, hospitalisations and deaths among infants which of course neither he nor any other antivax snake oil salesmen will take responsibility for.

I miss the days when entertaining and opinionated idiots like this would just be handed a podcast, rather than unilateral authority over America's entire health system.

People say Trump is dumb and well he is. But the people controlling his interests are incredibly smart. What better way to not only control the narrative but have a voice that resonates with a majority of MAGA than to employ either a bunch of brainless yes men and alcoholics and conspiracy nuts. That way they are inclined to believe Trump themselves while they pursue their conspiracys.

I find this all very humorous given what actually happened on Jan 6th 2021 and how Trump still states the 2020 election was stolen (from his numerous posts on Truth Social, he says it was stolen) yet how many courts cases, which he lost the lot, did we have to see.

He actually committed treason thats why he is projecting on the democrats who actually didnt.

Not a simple answer. If they are 100% convinced an order is illegal, eg, murder of captive civilians, theft of property,
orders that are manifestly unlawful (war crimes).

Soldiers need to be careful

Give me some examples of orders that a soldier needs to second-guess?

This is from one of the most biased Dems out there

I just did in my previous post. Abu Ghraib. Sure, many soldiers may have acted upon their own deranged predilections, but it has also been documented that the adoption of methods which constitute as war crimes were encouraged.

Here's a particular example of where a soldier must question in real time the order they're given. "Shoot first, ask questions later" is simply unacceptable and constitutes as a potential war crime if those who are shot turn out to be civilians.

[Quoted from Wikipedia - article: United States war crimes]

The Haditha massacre occurred on 19 November 2005, in Haditha, Iraq. After Lance Cpl. Miguel Terrazas (20 years old) was killed by a roadside improvised explosive device, Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich led Marines from the 3rd battalion into Haditha.[176] 24 Iraqi women and children were fatally shot. Wuterich acknowledged in military court that he gave his men the order to "shoot first, ask questions later"[177] after the roadside bomb explosion. Wuterich told military judge Lt. Col. David Jones "I never fired my weapon at any women or children that day." On 24 January 2012, Frank Wuterich was given a sentence of 90 days in prison along with a reduction in rank and pay. The day prior, Wuterich pled guilty to one count of negligent dereliction of duty.[176] No other marine that was involved that day was sentenced to any jail time. For the massacre, the Marine Corps paid $38,000 total to the families of 15 of the dead civilians.[178]

Trumps deployment of the National Guard in
L.A this year was deemed unlawful in a judicial enquiry. This is a concrete example.

It's likely that other deployment of the National Guard will also be deemed unlawful in the near future. This is a developing situation.

The Democrats are getting ahead of future unlawful use of the NG, by reminding soldiers of their duty to uphold the Constitution.

Excellent write up in your posts.

The fear that is spreading is Trump will order the NG and ICE into blue cities and zones where democrats are likely to win seats and they will cause havok with voting. Which in turn would be the massive fear of illegal orders.

DOGE is no more.

How did one of the best political policy ideas blow up in smoke?

Well the short answer is poor planning and ridiculous goals.

Instead of thorough in depth planning and review of each government department, Trump basically demanded DOGE walk in and gut each department in days and fire thousands of workers and scratch all public benefits and programs that cost money.

Here is where they lost the narrative. Trump walked into office and within days rumours had flooded the media that only the white house will release data to the media and individual government departments were not allowed. Here is where it went pear shaped. Trump totally under estimated the established media - source/leak network and thought that he could control it. Almost immediately the general public was getting word of DOGE cuts before the WH could even get in front of it and push the narrative. It didnt stop them from trying by claiming the savings of billions of dollars almost immediately. The problem is since everyone knew of the program cuts and extreme streamlining of departments and mass sackings. So it was pretty easy to establish that the costs saved were not true savings.

Once the public got wind of it, trust in the program all but eroded and with millions losing benefits Trump had to distance himself from it and the bad press. Overall a disaster.

DOGE should have been a success. What they should of done is completed a deep dive into each department, analysed as much data as possible and then start winding back anything they deem unnecessary waste. But what a shocking disaster.

Wait, stop the presses….

So you’re saying official medical bodies and institutions can be politically corrupted?

Didn’t a federal appeals court block this finding…
Dont you dare bring facts into this. ;)

"A U.S. appeals court paused the rulings, allowing troops to remain temporarily. As of November 26, 2025, about 100 Guard troops are still in LA, with 200 federalized for potential redeployment elsewhere."

They stayed the ruling while an official appeal can take place. It's still to be finalised. So how about them facts?

What facts? You guys are so lame! 😂

I know how badly you pine for the tangerine toddler, but your collective blinkers are causing some massive blind spots.

It's common for an appeals court to pause a ruling for a multitude of reasons. The pause neither reversed the finding, nor has it determined the act lawful.

To understand why the MAGA cult are so giddy about the prospect of the U.S. military enacting illegal or unconstitutional orders from Trump, you need to remember that this only applies when those illegal orders are about beating up minorities and the odd Democrat politician, because whether they are self aware enough to realise it or not, this is what makes these small, weak men feel tall.

Unless we’re talking about different things

Are you being deliberately obtuse? I feel like we're going around in circles. I've already addressed that, as did another poster adelaidecrows
