James Brayshaw has stolen it of overuse commentary
If I never heard ‘JB’ commentate again, I’d die a happy man

Also known as SpongeBob?Why do they call it hamburger helper? I'm not sharing my hamburger.
Yes exactly. I loved them. Also S.E Hinton (the outsiders, rumblefish, that was then this is now)Ah yes, the Paul Zindel story. That and his other novel, The Pigman were on my high school reading list in years 9 & 10.
Can't remember much about them now mind you.....
Yeah I’ve got it.Hai PG
Seen my bag at all btw
Was he the same Irish bloke that tried to register his racehorse under the name Norfolk and Chance?Be sure your sins will find you out. Kinda reminds me of the Irish golfer, who kept cheating by placing a number on the score sheet that represented 1 less than what he actually got.
He remained undetected, until 1 day when he registered a hole in 1, and wrote down zero.
I did! Many times! You're supposed to open the can before cooking, PG.
Cheery stuff.Isn't it lovely that there all having fun and being nice to one another.......
Isn't it unsettling to realise that these people are now in their late 70s - early 80s and making life miserable for everyone around them by reminiscing about how good the old days were.
Yeah, I read White Fang in year 7. Probably should again after all those years. Iirc, it was written in 1912 so will be interested in how it has dated. For instance RL Stevenson's Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde still has relevance. So does Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.Yes exactly. I loved them. Also S.E Hinton (the outsiders, rumblefish, that was then this is now)
Obviously The outsiders was an awesome movie with a huge cast but Rumblefish was also made into a movie
I got lost in jack London books also. Call of the wild, white fang. Loved em as a kid. I lived out in the middle of the NT and northern WA. No TV or radio reception so books and slim dusty cassette tapes was all I had.
My pleasure.Cheery stuff.
Thanks Mogs!
I’ve never known whether the assumption that as people get older they become more selfish is accurate or not. I’ve met some examples that don’t, but probably don’t have the full dataMy pleasure.
Most of the oldies are probably now voting Republican and complaining about loud music.
I think the best indicator will be Gen X and how they age. As part of the vanguard of the aforementioned generation I'll do all the heavy lifting for the younger ones behind me.I’ve never known whether the assumption that as people get older they become more selfish is accurate or not. I’m carrying this burden then.I think the best indicator will be Gen X and how they age. As part of the vanguard of the aforementioned generation I'll do all the heavy lifting for the younger ones behind me.
I’m carrying this burden then.
You’re in safe hands!
No sweat. I’m on it.![]()
It's large and bulky.
My mate laughed at me on Melbourne Cup day. I showed him my form guide and showed him the name of the horse I'd just put money on. I said, "Mate - it's a certainty."Was he the same Irish bloke that tried to register his racehorse under the name Norfolk and Chance?
