Tough song to rate I think because it has some very good elements and some others that I found a bit lame.

Good:

• The band is tight and there were a couple of tempo changes that I found immensely satisfying
• Excellent follow up to the TISM song, punky with rather overly intellectual lyrics
• bonus point for the fact the song is kinda football related (is it?)

Bad:

• The main part of the song, pure punk-light, the singing, etc. brings nothing new
• TISM succeeds I think by leaning into the ridiculous and giving the listener some genuine laughs . . . this I don’t know . . . is overly intellectual punk that is not being played for laughs really a thing? I’m not convinced

I’ll give it 6/10 — worthy, but I’m not tempted to put it in a playlist.
