Hope he plays 99 games for the Dees

Despite all the denials at the time the writing was on the wall once he was made the sub against North. First thought that came to my head when I saw it was “gone”. Was the obvious call and I’m glad we were brave enough to do it.

That shows Jack's quality, its a shame he couldnt play out his days at the Saints. I guess thats the modern game, hopefully the change does him good and he can refind his best form, except when playing us of course. It will be a tough watch, seeing him run around in the Demons colours....

I think the Saints will be better, but never hold your breath. Still think injuries could make or break us.
Our depth is a little better though.

We would have to lose half the best 22 to injury the whole year to finish bottom 4. There can be arguments made about whether we can make finals or not but we aren't going backwards with the list improvements we've made.

Melbourne are going to be an interesting watch. Lost a lot of quality in Petracca and May and with 9 over 30 or something.They'd need a lot of their promising kids to really soar and the old guys to stay at the same level. Can't see finals but can see them being competitive.

I can’t see a world Port Adelaide or Melbourne make the top 8.

I reckon Josh Carr may get them up & going next season, may surprise a few.
But also, they've only been relying on a few stars.
Their problem is good depth.
Melbourne seem pretty similar to us list wise.
Dont think the loss of Oliver & Patracca will hurt too much.
We should be ahead of those two though.

Yeah, l suppose it depends on who you lose, too.
Not having Butler, Howard, Henry, King & Pou for the most part of last season, hurt us too much.

Will be interesting indeed. May stayed though. It was mostly Petracca and Oliver out and Steele and Mihochek in, so I think a lot of that cancels each other out.

Will be fascinating to see how we go with the quicker/more nimble midfield and also what happens with Macrae.

Early in the season his TOG % was as high as 92%, and it was over 80% in 9 of the first 10 games, but in the last 6 weeks it was 63%, 71%, 66%, 65%, 55%, 22%.
