I was watching Tim Burton's, Alice in Wonderland yesterday when I posted - I'm currently on a Disney owned movie binge at the moment before I cancel my Disney+ subscription

I've binged Star Wars (excluding the useless 1, 2 & 3), watched Bambi for the first time (damn that hunter), the Black Panther pairing, rewatched Robin Hood, The Fox and the Hound, and unsuccessfully tried watching Fantasia

Watching the likes of Bambi, The Fox and the Hound, even Peter Pan, you start to realise how dark Disney films used to be and that there was a lot of quieter bits in them, compared with modern Disney films which feel a lot louder, almost sensory overload at times and slightly less dark

I really should have known that, that is in my wheel house, but missed it completely and must admit, still does not ring any bells.

I had a pulmonary embolism after knee surgery - I thought I was dying and then I found out you can. Scary. In the ambulance on the way to hospital the paramedics gave me fentanyl and ketamine. That helped. Morphine made no difference. They gave me some in my house when they first arrived and it literally made zero impact. The pain was incredible.

You have my sympathy.

I had an op last year and had to give myself an injection of an anti coagulant every day to help avoid the above catastrophe . I started on my left side and made my way across my abdomen, moving 5 to 10 ml to the right.Each injection left an groovy bruise and I was planning to take a photo after 28 days showing a linear bruise stretching all the way across my gut. I was very annoyed when the first few bruises disappeared after 10 days or so.


Ripped off I was.

No but opiates should bean essential part of most post operative regimes but they have been become a dirty word.

Mooch only needs 16 goals to hit 100. Pretty doable if The Roys win this match.

I now need 18 goals to move past Mooch. That seems just out of reach.
