Incredibly frustrating when you grab fallen premiums only for them to lose more $ cos they’re out and miss their BE by plenty. Not an issue in AFL SC cos one game. Thank **** I’m not in any NBA SC cash leagues.

Reckon players score for the round should be their highest score of their games for the week.

While the BEs are calculated to account for the number of games a player's team has in the upcoming round, the actual prices are calculated on a per game basis meaning that if a player plays 1 game and falls drastically short of their BE, they do not lose the value they would if they play all games in that round and score the same.

I agree that injuries and resting are a frustrating part of the game but i dont think there is an 'easy' solution. There are arguably changes that could be made to make the game 'better' but its already slightly moving in the right direction with the flex.

Would need to be able to switch guys from the bench to the court on a day to day basis and remove the emergency status.

I'm looking like losing my SC cup match thanks to Luka. If I could switch Rollins in, I'd be laughing. Although Johnson questionable still as well.

That is how NBA Fantasy works and takes a lot of effort. I know i would be willing to put in effort but thats a stretch even for me. I prefer the idea of having your bench player sub in automatically for the games missed by your starter. To make it work i think the lowest score of your bench player would be added first and then work from worst score to best score for the games missed by your starter. That means your bench is much more of a factor but you can still set your team at the start of the round. Even then though, there is no perfect solution.

Thanks, wasn’t aware of that; but it makes sense. Any idea if each game has a specific BE or its spread across the number of games for the round (e.g 3 games / BE of 60 = BE of 20 each game?).

Yeah, the quick line up is handy. I'd say they'd go for that if anything.

So it would be based on the previous games scores as to what each BE would be.

You may know this but I will provide a very simple example for anyone reading that may want to know

E.g take 3 last scores of 10, 20 and 30 for a total of 60

Assume the BE for next 3 games is 60.

Note I am operating under the assumption 3 games account for the price changes, and those 3 games account equally. I could be off, they may well weight scores differently or base it on up to 5 games (it would not be more) …anyway let’s return to the example.

So if the most recent score is 30, then 20, then 10

The players BE for the first game would be 10 as that drops out from the calculation first. The BE for game 2 would be the 20 and 3 is 30 to total 60.

That’s why looking at the order of the 3 scores that comprise the 3 game average is crucial so taking into account possible injury you would naturally hope that BE of 60 is ‘back loaded’ and the 1st game BE is then only 10 instead of (60 divided by 3 = 20)

So yeah best to look at the order of scores when addressing BE. Unfortunately my example is likely too simplistic as they could weight the scores different and/or take into account more than 3 scores when doing BE.

The important thing to note is still the order of scores.

I hope I’ve been clear enough and cheers for reading. Apologies if I’m just telling you stuff that you know too :)
