I heard there's a museum of famous pets and objects and they have Glascott's Monkey next to Pavlov's Dog and Schroedinger's Cat (not sure if its still alive though).

On the wall is Chekov's Gun (not loaded....surely?), Occam's Razor (there's a bunch of stories about how it got there, mostly long and unlikely), the axe some bloke used to rebuild his grandfathers ship, several apples etc.
