Yay! It was a weird round in that I only cared about one set of votes haha so feel I won.

I’ve heard of the classics by Sylvester but only discovered the joy of Patrick for this round. Read up on him and this article was the inspiration for picking Menergy (ironically it was the name of my high school basketball team).

Patrick Cowley Is One of Disco's Most Important Producers. These Are His Must-Hear Deep Cuts.

He brought out the best in Sylvester, honed hi-NRG, and made one of the first great pieces of art about AIDS.

Brisbane's 4ZZZ came up with the Hottest 100 before anyone else. They're celebrating their 50th birthday and to coincide with celebrations they did the annual release earlier than usual. Results were released yesterday...

no matter if gibberish, the lyric surely must also be considered great.
Otherwise you are saying that's a great riff, or great melody, or great sound. But the lyric sucks. In other words, then it can't be considered a great song.

So the lyric fits perfectly and therefore it can be considered a great lyric in light of fitting perfectly with the melody chords and mood of the song.
And is actually - for you - a great song.

A song is made up of both lyric and music.

Otherwise it is an instrumental that got stuffed by some idiot putting a crap lyric with it.
And ain't nobody wants that!
I admit the challenge is too great for me, for all reasons stated.
I'm hopefully alone in thinking this way.
I look forward to seeing what folks come up with. And disagreeing with all of you.
