Christianity? You're right that it's not a competition but one group's terror atrocities massively eclipses the other. It's not even close.
Until that's addressed, people will continue to engage in whataboutism and keep making excuses instead of facing the issue head on and the violence will continue.
I don't think it's complex. Militant Islam is associated with terrorism. We've seen knife attacks elsewhere in the world from Islamic militants. Banning guns wont fix this.Solving those issues will take generations and are extremely complex, but this is the first mass shooting we've had here in a long time and all the guns were legally owned. It's about preventing another act like this.
All those things can't kill as many people in minutes like a gun can?We don't really need cigarettes either.
We don't need to go bush walking or surfing.
Anything else we should make illegal that kills people?
Up here in Darwin edged weapons are a problem. Do we ban all edged weapons? We can just use plastic knives.
Drunk drivers kill a lot of people. We don't need alcohol either. So the govt should ban alcohol.
I'm all for tighter controls. But let's not kid ourselves.

How will a further tightening of gun laws fix problems associated with radical Islam?

I don’t know how anyone could disagree with this comment…ignorance I supposemy brother lives in the NT on some land, he regularly hunts, hed have at least ten guns.. .22, mid size rifles, shot guns, and high powered rifles. each for a different type of shooting.

......
But legitimately, what types of things get the son on there? If you post that question online.
You get added to it.

Guns have a single purpose. To kill stuff.
As far as Im aware bush walking and surfing serve a few purposes, none of which are to kill stuff.
Being drunk and driving is never not illegal, too.
If this is your best then my plan would be simple and massively popular.
The son was on a terrorism watch list and people are speaking about tightening gun laws…What does banning multiple gun ownership do to achieve preventing this sort of attacks seems performative? Even if the father owned 30 guns, they are only able to carry out such an attack with 1 weapon at a time.
I'm for strict laws everywhere, but people have this idea that if someone owns 10 rifles somehow they can stage an attack with all of them simultaneously....

No idea but I'd guess social media profiling would be a big one. If you are friends or friends of friends or linked to or go to same places as known fiends. That sort of thing? But legitimately, what types of things get the son on there?
Because Zionist people are already using this attack as justification for Zionism and labelling anti-Zionism as antisemitism. The protesting is about pushing back against that appropriation. If you think it's about supporting the gunmen, then you're a sick individual. You think that its not vile to protest Palestine in Bondi ...TODAY?
Please explain...why you think it was OK to protest about Palestine at Bondi today.?
A show of support for the gunmen?
Holding the citizens of Bondi responsible for the situation in Israel.?
WHAT?
Whoever organized it did not do their cause any favours. Blatant hate peddling.

One of the most prominent US political commentators at the time of the Iraq war called for the forced conversion of all Iraqi's to Christianity and if they refused they should be killed. George W Bush called the war a crusade by God's chosen nation. You're right that it's not a competition but one group's terror atrocities massively eclipses the other. It's not even close.

The protestors need to get a job. Find a new hobby.Because Zionist people are already using this attack as justification for Zionism and labelling anti-Zionism as antisemitism. It does matter that she was Jewish.Less than 24 hours and there we have it a pro-Palestinian, keffiyeh wearing person at the Bondi vigil. It doesn’t matter than she was Jewish. What matters is that it demonstrates a clear lack of compassion and respect.
Too many modern day progressives are the exact counter to their predecessors. Their “silence is violence” and unwillingness to let a vigil happen without it wanting to also include their issue demonstrates their underlying objective to have complete control of the narrative.
The pathway to resolution includes more open debate and more critical thinking but many modern day progressives see this as a threat which is why they look to cancel, deplatform, blockade and chase off campuses.
