Finally got power back on after the storm yesterday....lasted an hour or so and then went off again....and just re-started the generator and it's back.
Also surrounded by fires.
It's been a hectic 24 hours trying to save the Christmas ham we bought on Saturday from getting too warm.
welshpool area had the weakest trees ever, 24 hours out after the storm no traffic lights for 12 hours in some spots, no fires though :(

NFL reference. Old Man Rivers came out of retirement to play for the Colts, five or so years after he retired.

Fun fact: he’s a grandfather, possibly the first grandfather to be active in the NFL?

Less fun fact: he’s a few months younger than me 😢
Active is a generous way of describing how well he was moving

Now I know why you got the NASA grade air-fryer. Will cook that baby in under 18 seconds.

An absolute tragedy has just occurred and all some of you do is whinge about apparent racists on twitter, it’s ****ing pathetic.

There is a far greater issue at hand.
Apparent?

Get ****ed.

Our power would have come on around the same time as yours. It was around 28 hours without power and the missus and the kid were both losing their minds.

We had three powerlines down on our street, flooding and what appears to be 4 trees split in half.

Geez that's crazy, you guys must have copped it in that storm. Not even sure why ours was out, must have been a lightning strike somewhere nearby.
I don't mind it so much because we've got a generator, it's more that we have one mobile phone tower which lasts about 2 hours after a blackout and the NBN tower lasts about 6 without power. With all the fires about it makes it impossible to keep track of whether we need to evacuate or not because you lose all communication not long after the power goes

Just went down Welshpool/Orrong to get to my office, some serious carnage still to clean up.

I got very sick maybe 12 years ago.

Ive taken a holistic approach to recovery and management in keeping it in remission.

Part of that was taking to a nuetrionest. They told me, processed meats, your hams/salami/deli chicken etc are some of the worse foods I could eat, due to there very high inflammatory properties.

As such, I cut those out from my diet pretty much completely.

Except for Chrissy time. I let myself enjoy a good ham and turkey and all the other bits plates and stuffed croissant that come out for Christmas.

Ham off the bone isn't processed though, right?

Dunno, but it's not common to cook up a proper ham onna random day during the year.

Plus it's one of those things for me where it's easier to just say no ham than say some is ok some is not ok

Oh yeah for sure, I can get that.

Life without prosciutto is not life at all.

Geez okay...

Trumps response to it....

While movie fans around the world grieved, Mr Trump posted online that Reiner died "reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME".

"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness," the president wrote.

So Son kills his parents but Trump declares he had TDS?
