The dad tried to get a licence in 2015, and didn't put a photo on it, so it lapsed and was not issued. He tried again in 2019, same thing occured.

I would love to see Albanese - at an appropriate time in a week or so - respond to Netanyahu and call him out. It’s time someone did so in a strong and measured way.

He is an elected leader of a sovereign state. No reasonable person condones what Hamas, a non-state actor, did on Oct 7. Why should some of the subsequent actions of a Sovereign State be condoned when they were no better? I briefly dated a girl years ago and after getting to know her a little it's pretty obvious she was into some dodgy shit and hung around some questionable characters, definitely the kind that could get a gun easily. As soon as she mentioned something about some Gangitano contact I thought it sounded familiar so I did quick google search. Suffice to say I got out of dodge pretty quick.
