Very odd timing with all this Diggs & Barmore drama on the eve of the playoffs. Hopefully it all blows over & if need be gets dealt with post playoffs.

We can’t afford to lose Diggs. :whitecheck:

A couple of off field distractions that we could well have done without.

Disappointing to read ...... ( polite version )....... I can never get my head around why SO many NFL players, do really dumb shit like they do, that potentially puts their careers at risk.

It's like tearing up a winning lotto ticket.

Ego, entitlement. I’ve been waiting for Diggs to slip, I really hope this isn’t it.

What a fantastic season we have witnessed, who would have thought 14-3 would be on the cards at the start of the season.

Kudos to Hand Job Bob for making the necessary hard call on Mayo.

I was pissed at the time that Mayo got the nod as it was effectively a fake process of pretending to go through the full interviewing process, including skipping the Rooney Rule by the very fact that Mayo got the job, I wanted Vrabel as he was a proven and successful Coach, anyway enough on that as it worked out that way eventually.

Looks like we have the best QB under the age of 24 and our QB of the future.

Will be interesting to see how far we advance, as much as I would love us to go all the way, realistically I will be thrilled if we win a couple of play off games.

Right at the moment I am seeing a: :nflseahawks: V:nflbroncos: Super Bowl with the Seahawks taking care of the Donkeys easily.

We have a lot to look forward to in the years to come as our immediate future is looking very bright.

I know it was just Miami but Stevenson was unreal tonight. The way he was running upright full of steam reminded me of peak Derrick Henry - credit to him for bouncing back from the fumble issues.

Good to have Milton Williams back for the playoff push. Fully fit Williams, Landry and Spillane will be a huge boost.

That was one ugly as fu(k win...... but a win is a win.

Would be nice if the OL could have kept Maye upright more often, gee it was sack central in this game both QB's got hammered.

That said our D played very well, thats actually not as surprise as they have been good most of the season and have been very underrated.

Very happy that we now have a post season win to our name.

Also enjoyed all the salty bitchy posts from the haters in other threads, commenting on the game and our performance.

We have pissed the Haters off big time, by having been able to bounce back much quicker than they were either hoping for, or expecting.

Whilst we still have a lot to do to elevate this team to becoming a regular contender, you would have to say that this season has been a spectacular start in the rebuild.

As Kraft himself said of the Patriot Haters " jealousy and envy are an incurable disease".

Scrappy game but with a pleasing result. :thumbsu:

Was rapt with the D. As much as their O line has been ravaged with no Alt/Slater, to hold Herbie & a talented offense to 3 pts on the back of silver platter opportunity from a bad Drake pick, says alot abt how much of a difference Milton, Landry & Spillane makes to our D.

Drake needs to undsrstand to look after the ball better in a collapsing pocket & to minimise giving free points away. Just gotta bridge that gap between his best & worst moments.

Still very happy we’ve got a post season win when it was never on my radar early on but the expectations are higher now & think we should be getting to the AFC game now if we tidy it up.

Awesome dub today.

That'll get rid of most of the doubters.

Defense was solid af and we did all the basics right.

Some story this will be if we win it all but I believe the Bills will take us out, hopefully im wrong.

The Stevenson redemption arc continues. Thought he was our MVP on the offensive side of things. I'm sure Drake will learn a lot from his first playoff game, but good to get away with a few iffy snaps.

Honestly, I was bit underwhelmed by the D-line in the first half. I thought Herbert didn't face a lot of pressure and had time to throw, but he just couldn't make the play (credit to the back-end of the defence) there. We had the goal-line stand but otherwise I thought the Chargers were stiff not to be in front at the half. I was thinking back to the trade deadline and us not making a move for a DE, and how it was showing up in the biggest game of the year, but then they killed Herbert in the second half. Well done to the coaching staff.

Hopefully it was a case of dust and cobwebs for Wilson, and the O-line bounces back next week against what will be a tough Pit/Hou D-line.

Defence is playing crazy good atm. Feels like everyone on that side of the ball is making an impact. Landry is the one who is obviously being slowed down by injury, but otherwise all hands on deck.

Not a great few weeks for Will Campbell, but he likewise might be playing hurt. Will be good to have the off-season to reassess properly, but we might need to punt on him being a starting tackle and move him inside to guard. We can't keep playing with fire when it comes to ball security. If we can address that, we have as good a chance as anyone of winning it all.

As an aside; what a crazy free agency class it has turned out to be. Every single signing has showed up at some point. Pretty excited by what we might be able to do this coming offseason. People should be lining up to play with this team.

Good win and we have shown real character in the second half of the season.

Wow simply wow, I'm pinching myself cant believe that we find ourselves playing next weekend for a spot in the Super Bowl.

I think we have a really good chance to beat The Donkeys.

It's a real bitch that Bo Nix has gone down with that ankle break, I do absolutely hate it, when good players get serious injuries.

What will work in our favour is that Josh McDaniels will know Jarrett Stidham's strengths and weakness's as well as any, given that he has coached him both when he was a New England and when he was with The Raiders, hopefully its the knowledge that can help us shut him down.

Huge mountain to climb, to win at Mile High Stadium, BUT our away record this year has been faultless.

That said without wanting to get ahead of myself, I have looked at the two opponents from the NFC and acknowledge that they will be tough to beat in the Super Bowl ... Seahawks in particular.

Very happy with where we are as a team right at the moment, should we have had our last win for the season its been a season that grossly exceeded my wildest expectations.

In Mike we trust.

Well well well ......... who would have "thunk" ... that we would make the Super Bowl at the start of the season.

🪅🎊🎉🪅🎊🎉🪅🎉BUT WE HAVE.🪅🎊🎉🪅🎊🎉🪅🎊🎉

Been a heck of an effort, regardless of what happens, it's been a startling turn around in the Teams fortunes.

Will be a monumental mountain to climb to beat whichever of the Seahawks or Rams are the opponents.

Pretty proud and chipper that this group has taken us this far.

Fun little fact
Leonard Taylor III was undrafted in 2024 and got cut by the Jets in October
Signed to the Patriots practice squad 2 days later
Got called up to the active roster on Saturday
Went on to tip the Will Lutz kick

Another fantastic gift from the Jets

OK guys and gals.

We find ourselves on super bowl eve and by God have the haters come out in force.

Now with all and sundry predicting and or barracking for a Seahawks victory, and giving us absolutely no chance in hell, I thought I would dig deep and find us an omen that could cheer us up.

Now ( and correct me if I am wrong here) but the Seahawks have been in three Super Bowls ( having won one and lost two ) - every super bowl they have played in, it’s been the team wearing the white tops - that have held the Lombardi aloft.

Steelers when they beat them.
Then when they beat the Donkeys.
Us when Butler did his thing.

So I am cautiously optimistic that this trend will continue.

We tomorrow, are in the white tops, whereas they are in the navy blue.

Clutching at straws …. Hell yeah but I like the outcome.

Jest aside - enjoy the day, stay safe and let’s hope that confetti falls our colours.

Also another funny stat is that this is the 9th time the Celtics have played on a Super Bowl Sunday involving the Patriots

They are 7-1 in those games... the only loss was the day of Super Bowl XLIX

Make that 7-2. Knicks absolutely towelled them up in Boston. I think we’ll stick with the Pats white guernsey omen.

Oh well it was not to be, got completely out classed by a superb Seahawks D.

Our O line is / was and still is, a worry.

Casting aside the excoriating disappointment of loosing a Super Bowl, I am very proud of the players and coaching staff.
We have come a heck of a long way in twelve months.

I still think we are two drafts and free agencies away from becoming a genuine contender.

I have confidence with Vrabel and Wolf in the two important seats, to oversee the final rebuild.

Maye got better protection but he needs that aspect of our game stiffened up significantly more than is.
He is our most important player going forward and we need to protect him, but with a significantly higher quality O line.

Great season and I never ever expected us to make the Super Bowl.
