Training Saints preseason 2026

King spent about 10 minutes in rehab today, going through some exercises in front of S&C staff. He then went back inside. Not sure if this was part of a plan or if his knee was hurting. Seemed fine walking off the ground, no discernible limp.

JSOS also spent some time in the rehab group. Looked as though it is early days for his rehab program.
The fact he was out there means the club was somewhat honest with their December press release.

Didn’t someone else say JSOS was training the other day?

Someone mentioned in the rehab group but at a very early stage. Sounds like a second half of the season

Saint Mike said he was running laps and looking like an Adonis after all his gym work didn’t he?

He was doing repeat hundreds about 3/4 pace then ran laps on Friday., so at least he’s out there. TDK and Henry in full training is also positive.

So getting pretty close now if that’s the type of running he is doing.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from next week.
I dropped in for a look today and spotted King in the gym. To be honest, you wouldn’t even know he’s got a prosthetic l

How was Henry looking Remboy ?

Anything else to note from training ?

Showing my years, but Georgie Young was my all-time favourite.
Was similar to Trevor Barker, but did the high flying marks, in the forward line.
He was a dead eye dick kick too.
From Subiaco, WA
Played with Saints- 1973-78, 108 games- 284 goals.
185cm-86kg.
Debuted when he was 24y.o- retired at 29y.o having kicked his highest tally of 70 goals- 21 behinds in the 1978 season.
I not only spent time under the moorabbin scoreboard with 'bam bam' was her nickname, but also got to see Georgie Young flyin as high as the scoreboard.
Good years those.
was in Melbourne that year-actually at ag college in Geelong but went to pretty much every Saints game standing behind George Young ,well on the fence anyway he was a beautiful drop punt kick of the footy mostly never looked like missing

Henry looked very good. It would be great to get a full season out of him.
As Mike mentioned the indigenous boys are very close. A few times I noticed Hill, Henry, Ryan, Collard and NAS in a group.
Everyone seems to be really putting in. Nobody wants to be left behind. If a player doesn't give 100% at any point it's going to stand out because the rest are busting a gut.
Windy looks like a man on a mission, Garcia too.

So many more ways to abuse people with a reaction emoji.
Gee thanks admin, this wont cause any more angst.
Who owns Bigfooty? Elon Musk?
They are in the midst of performing a large forum update process, with more taking place tonight. I don't have any concrete info on if they are staying, but I would think it will be reduced back to what we had previously

Look I really don’t know what the situation is. I just know, going through my own ACL and meniscus clean up. I can only imagine what each trauma is doing to his knee and confidence.

It’s truly sad as this following the Mccartin pick is another injury plagued KPF. I just hope we start playing Viking there.
Not sure Viking is a decent set shot. Mitch is already pretty dynamic aerially in the forward line and also not a great set shot.

Look Viking’s technique is far more superior to Owen’s. I think with some coaching it would end up standard
The forward line is a work in progress but with Mitch, Sharman, Keeler, Roma and possibly Hammer there’s more than enough options.
I like Viking back. Think he brings a great aerial presence which we haven’t had.

I personally prefer Caminiti back, looks more comfortable there plus he's better one on one & a better mark than Dougal

Popped in yesterday and caught a few things from what looked a bright and airy session.
Speaking of Viking he’s looking bigger in the back of shoulders and triceps, not a lot but the type of growth we’d expect. Wondered if he’s shot-up a bit. Moving around effortlessly kind of floats. Ball is smooth off the boot. Picturesque player. Poster boy. Will be favourite for many many fans once he gets going. Give him a couple of years.
Dodson on boundary running. Such a big man who can play. In terms of potential and a player likely to have a strong career, I’d have him and Viking right up there.
Hill vocal in the boundary running, quite jovial and wasn’t sure if he was directing at Ryan who was further back but working hard.
Good to see Lenny on the boundary smiling away, maybe buzzing about the new role. Didn’t see Rosco but Harvey and Bolton out there. Goddard same.
First sight of TDK against Marshall, looking agile and decent below the knees. Very excited. I thought Marshall was looking generally heavier but that’s most likely just aging.
I kept looking at Fincher running boundary (37?) and couldn’t really believe how physically well proportioned he is. Looks awesome for his age (no hyperbole). Quite tall.
Wilson and Garcia with Flanders hot on heels in group running. Wilson taking some penetrating shots on goal albeit with the wind and both he and Garcia last to leave the oval, back and forth kicking. Garcia definitely a machine.
Windy very cut but powerful enough, very serious body language.
The Pou running strongly, he’s a big guy now, and Carroll very muscular.
No doubt a few I didn’t see out there but could have been like Mason and Hastie and Wilkie.
Armstrong could turn into a pretty powerful man. Hally looking confident, can spin on a dime. Think I saw Said in a smaller running group, filling out. Hunter was out there not sure if with main group. Butler seemed to pull out of team running walking toward the race.
Henry was moving without any obvious issues, free moving. I’ve seen a lot of him running over the last 12 months and this looks best I’ve seen.
Sorry there’s not much footy stuff here but it seemed light-on maybe happened before I got there.
I didn’t see King I’m not mentioning King.
I see the Saints App has got new clothes.
