Just didn’t pop for me, bit too much style over substance.

Music was supercool.

Not to spoil it but that premise was done 30 years ago.

Stinker. It's really well shot in LA, but the script is terrible, so generic. And Chris Hemsworth and Barry Keoghan are miscast. 3/10

I've never seen the Canadian show, but the movie is pretty funny. 6/10

I occasionally will go to the cinema to see a movie a 2nd time (Fight Club, No Country For Old Men, Anora, Sinners off the top of my head, there's probably a couple of others).

One Battle After Another is the first time I've gone 3 times, and I'll probably go again with the encore screenings.

It won Best Pic, so no doubt many feel the same way you do about it. Film, like most art forms, is subjective. I didn't hate it, but felt a bit let down by it given the hype. A few issues:

Why the need to kill Sean Penn's character twice? Bringing him back just to have him killed again made no sense to me.
Felt the script treated Perfidia poorly. Goes missing for the second act only to get a trite letter scene at the end.
The whole contrivance with knowing the call sign was both telegraphed, and in the end unnecessary.

Didn't see many of the shows up for the Oscars, but I really liked Hamnet.

Project Hail Mary is great.
Think it will be a big crowd pleaser. Don't think there are many actors who could carry that kind of movie like Gosling can. 8/10
