Banfield will play on the wing.

Macrae out means windhager comes off the wing role he played in pies game and plays centre square mid to cover macrae.

That opens up a wing spot for banfield regardless of whether pou is playing or not.

Banfield should have a good few weeks in the team to perform and cement a wing spot before macrae returns.

If/when macrae returns and banfield is doing well on the wing- banfield will stay in the team and windy will move to halfback or hf.

With steele gone and now macrae out- we need windy to be our main inside mid trying to get it 30+ times a game.
He played that role for most of last week when macraes knee started playing up.
(windy went from 0% CBAs v the pies to 60% CBAs v the dees)

He's just as likely to ton up as an inside mid as he is playing on the wing or backline.
