I'm in the same boat, but likely going to keep Lombard ahead of Sharp and just loop Cook this week given he's playing at the rookie graveyard (especially for outside types).

Think Lombard is more likely to make cash sooner than Sharp given Sharp's role/TOG are garbage, and Lombard is a bit more of a natural forward than he is (might even get a taste of mid time with Trac and Humphrey out, who knows).

If Sharp ends up playing though, maybe I'll change my mind.
Could go whoever I keep to Scerri next week anyway

cooks on the bubble this week and projected to be 50k dearer next week
I got him in after the first game with a downgrade from injury.

Im not sure what to do. Might need a boost.

This Week

Rozee to Worrell 860k remaining for Bont next week from perhaps Sharp which leaves 300k at that point.

Trac to ??? Got too many pies, bulldogs with Bont, crows, north and port so need balance.

Then what? I have
Lindsay who didnt play round 2.

I have most of the big rookies who are about to burst already.

Let's be honest here, Watkins wouldn't be on an AFL list if Port weren't trying to hang on to Butters.
Perhaps, but he's no worse than some top-10 picks floating around like Archie Perkins

Gee Milan out has me rethinking.

Rozee out for ZZ if he is named alongside Draper (is Draper actually ready to come in?)

Trac out for Cook.

Unfortunately have 900k riding the pine not being useful.

Someone talk me out of cook or ZZ please.

Im keeping Buderick due to feedback from the BF community.

Got Rozee, Young and Trac to deal with so luckily for Windsor and Sharp they survive.

Will prob trade those 3 for
Cook, Watkins and Xerri. Leaves 600m
K in the bank. 300k to go Windsor > NAS after the bye and assess the rest after

I have 6 dogs players so I’m pretty f***** this week regardless.
Thoughts?

Big meat Drapes played 2 weeks back .

Cook could be a good scorer if the croms used him over that turn over merchant Jones.

Little budda got a good role i can get some 80s in him.

Heres what I looked at

Im thinking teams arent going to **** around with hammies. Don't be surprised to see guys like Butters on the bench with dead games.

140k left

I can't belive Jones is still playing. Very few crows fans rate him. Some want him off the list.
Is little budda Cook or Jones?

Ta Oz for the input.

The 900 riding the pine is the part that makes no sense.

As is going backwards on your premo count. Trade math gets real hard when you start doing that

Did some quick maths, and if I trade Trac, Rozee and Sharp to Lachie Ash, W.Duursma and Cook, I have enough cash next week to upgrade both Parish and Windsor to premiums.

That would mean after 3 active rounds I've traded out 3 premiums due to injury, used 6 trades in total, but have one extra genuine premium in my starting side than I did in round 1.

It feels relatively sensible, but I'll also miss out on Xerri, which makes me pretty apprehensive.

Regardless, this week could be a forced divergence of teams overall, considering all the collective trade possibilities.

I get it. But with ZZ, Bo Allan and Cook all looking like sexy money makers, I'm wondering if I could make up the points later over the season.
Conservative me, wants Rozee out for B Allan and Tracc for Naicos

Tight ass future me says Rozee out for B Allan or ZZ and Tracc for Cook.

I really am struggling to decide.... nice problem to have given my rank but both options have massive upside.

Ta JS

What’s your rank?

it’s tricky and I get the appeal of both but 900k is wild.

You basically have to turn that money + those 3 rookies into 4 premiums to be worth it and your giving up 120 points a week until you spend it.

it also gets much harder to chase points later with everyone at full premo

I'm really struggling to choose between bringing in Ash or W Duursma (are we still doing the Wuursma style nomenclature?).

On the one hand, not bringing in Ash now would leave me with way too much cash in the bank, and with my structure/the people I want to bring in I wouldn't be able to spend it until round 5. Cash in the bank = less points on the field, so not sure I like that.

On the other hand, I'm very sceptical of the amount of money the rookies are going to make over the next 4-6 weeks. Only a few seem to be making genuine cash, and most have shaky JS.
Then you've got the next wave or Jones, Scerri and Lefau. One was brought in because someone was sick. Another is a 99k small forward and we all know how they tend to go historically. The other, while able to chop out in the ruck, is still a pretty average tall forward.

Wuursma will make it to 300k pretty comfortably in the not too distant future, and he has DPP to boot.

Tough call. Points or cash gen???

Edit: doesn't have DPP soz I think I was thinking about Uwlands on that

Duursma is mid only. Bit expensive for me given there's Cook/Watkins this week (if you don't have one), then Scerri/Jones/Lefau next week.

Looks good though, so could be a nice rookie POD against a lot of experienced coaches that didn't go there due to the price tag.
