So its going to cost blues and bombers a bomb and we're going to get an extra 1st rounder out of it?

It'll be a better pick than that.Pick 27 out of it![]()
Every year there are prospects that missed out at the National Draft and use it as motivation to come back better the next season. Oliver Griffin may well be one of those, having put him name in the early frame for the mid season draft. He was impressive in this game, especially early, showing competitive fire and physicality along with the springy athleticism, clean hands and aerial attack to make him a real marking threat.

Call me crazy, but just saw some big Braydon Pruess highlights. Given it can't get any worse wonder if he's worth a 6 month deal in the mid season draft to get us to 2027
A quick question, if Carlton finished 16th and Sydney ended up 8th, if we bid on Walker with the number 1 pick, would Carlton have to trade both their picks to capture Walker.
A follow up question, do we think they would give up pick 3 and potentially pick 10 for Walker?
Dougie out for another 12 weeks with a knee injury.
Always seems to be injured this kid.
Been getting injured a lot without playing footy since he was accepted into Port’s NGA.Dougie out for another 12 weeks with a knee injury.

So he’s an albino that smokes darts on way to trainingThe mad Hatter is a mix between Gawn and English.
Blue's fans sooking about the new rules and threatening legal action.
They only have to pay 300 points more and have plenty of draft capital. Also they got Harry Dean and Jack Ison last year under the old system.
Damn wish i could post that on their board.Used picks 20, 23 & 25 to match a bid for Harry Dean at 3 last year and now they're having a sook.
Would have to be a condition that you don't get a compensation pick if your pick that was pushed back, was then used to match a bid? lolIt'll be a better pick than that.
Say Poort and Carlolton finish 15th and 16th respectively. So they start with pick 3 for Carltoon and 4 for Poort. What will be funny is whoever's kid gets bid on second will get the extra end of R1 pick, but the other won't.
Eg. Essenspoon bid on Dougie. Poort match with pick 4, so that pick's gone. No more top-5 pick to get shunted back. But Carloltoon's pick 3 does move back, so they get the end of R1 pick. But then Essindrugs bid on Cody, and pooof - pick 4's gone.
So, for eg.
1 - Dougie (Poort)
2 - Cody (Carlol)
3 - Arki (Ess)
4 - Harry van Hammer (Rich)
5 - (tied to) whoever finished 14th
6 - 13th
7 - 12th
8 - 11th
9 - 10th
10 - 9th
11 - 8th
12 - 7th
13 - 6th
14 - 5th
15 - 4th
16 - 3rd
17 - 2nd
18 - 1st
19 - Ess
20 - Rich
21 - Ess
22 - Rich
23 - Car
etc.
There might be other bids and matches in the first round, but the likelihood is at least one pick in the first round will be used to match, so the picks will stay roughly the same. Might even come in if for eg. picks 14 and 18 are used to match a bid at 8.
Every year there are third tall forward prospects that missed out at the National Draft who come back as overagers, kick goals, get hyped by Twomey, taken in the MSD, then are never seen or heard from again.
Looks like he's got a good leap and is agile for a big manIs
he athletic ?
We all know he is tall and built like a brick sheet house but never seen much posted about his athletic traits and mostly his size
A lot to like about this first up performance from Ethan Drever. A midfielder with a big frame who likes to impose himself in contested situations, Drever was especially effective at stoppage, getting first hands on the ball a lot or laying tough tackles to prevent the opposition breaking free. One of the most impressive sights in footy is a midfielder breaking clear from center bounce, driving forward and bombing a long goal, and Drever nearly did it twice at a pivotal time in the final quarter. On the negative side, he will need to work on his composure and decision making when kicking the ball.
The Cotchins are moving too Brissy. What Carlton pays for Walker will be peanuts compared to what we'll have to shell out to add Parker Cotchin to our 2037 back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back premiership list. I don't know how we're going to do it.
Names Plz.Including Mothers.What about Dusty's illegitimate #1 pick children?
