Bleed Records Pr
Statement :

Bleed Records Wishes to inform Ticket Holders for Sadistic Intent , that the The Asia / Australian Tour will be Re Scheduled for Asia
( Maybe ) and Cancelled for Australia due to No Visas..

To be clear we have pushed the Band to do them and even offered diffrent paths such as Skipping Japan ( No Visas ) submitted and carry on with All Existing Dates to no response .

Flights have been Purchased by all Promoters in each country involved with making the Tour happen and in the case of Australia , All Flights and Costs involved are Non Refundable ,

Due to the Heavy losses Bleed Records has incurred and the Current Climate of Fuel / Aviation Costs , We will not put the money on the table again ...

Maybe another local Australian Promoter will pick up the Package but for us , in our Best intrests is to Cancel our Part ..
All Ticket Holders will be Notified by Oztix or Moshtix for Refunds of Base prices .. Bleed Records Early Bird Sales can be Refunded to a Bank Account nominated by the Holder or Exchanged for Incantation Tickets for Melbourne or Sydney
Thanks Marty for Bleed Records

Man that sucks.

I'm surprised promoters don't do the visa applications on behalf of the bands. So many dudes are flaked out.

I just read the Evergrey guitarist quit the band less than a month before the Australian tour... not sure how that's going to pan out.

Next Saturday is massive for gigs, probably the pick is the Pizza Death launch.

We just dropped their show from the Tote last year, the first one we captured with their new guitarist.

All the cheesy banter and one minute crossover goodness you expect from a Pizza Death show.

I really want to see these guys, seem like a lot of fun, I'm sure I'll be able to catch them at some point they seem to tour a lot.

Seen them once and they were heaps of fun. If im not mistaken they are on the Shredfest lineup so im keen to see them again!

People are always shocked to find out that James Colorado has a Police record

But to be fair through, he just likes their music

Any Mgla fans here? Did anyone catch them in 2017... any good live?
Caught them in 2017 at a fest in Scotland, then a few years later just after COVID.

One of my fav live bands. Sounded fantastic both times.

Yes!! I've referred to them here before as the most important BM band of the 2010s (not saying the best, but they're up there), due to how innovative they've been.

It was actually Paul Kersey in his deathevocation days who tagged me when he posted Exercises In Futility, and I've been hooked since then. Former prominent poster in this thread and current vidya game aficionado dwwaino is a massive fan.

Saw them on that 2017 gig when they played with Marduk and Gorguts (Ulcerate also on the bill, but I missed them); incredible quality gig 💯

Heading into PLF now; wearing the Pestilence shirt from the 2024 tour, if any of you are going.

Want to go to H.E.A.T tomorrow, but may not be able to afford it :/ Yesterday was payday, but my quarterly health insurance was due and I also had to pay in advance for my PAYGI due end of the month, so need to calm down for the next fortnight.

Marduk were on that tour too. Was it the Plague Angel or Nightwing album in entirety? Anyway, probably one of the best shows I've been too and I don't think I've been to many since haha. I want to see Health with Perturbator and King Yosef in September but it's on a work night 👉👈

Also, if I've been binging Pantera (and Down) since turning 40 does that mean I'm starting to suffer from mid life crisis? Or am I just trying to relive my edgy early teens in the late 90s?

It was Heaven Shall Burn When We Are Gathered in full.

It's comfort music. It takes you back to a simpler time but still kicks arse.

I keep searching for new music, listen to plenty of music from the last 30 years that I really enjoy, but stuff like Maiden up to and including Live After Death, first 4 Metallica albums, Appetite for Destruction, Pantera up to Trendkill, first 2 Alice In Chains albums plus others are where I go back to.

I don't post in here much but lurk often, this thread has expanded my horizon big time for both new and old music, but there's always those bands that you fall back on that hit the sweet spot (for reference in nudging 50)

It's not a mid-life crisis, it's a way-of-life crisis. \m/

Let me guess, you're wearing camo shorts?

Nah but I have never stopped wearing cargo pants since the 90s. I wait for them to come in and out of fashion and the closure of Rivers has been an existential crisis.

I watched this click-bait video just to see who he listed. Slipknot - garbage. Avenged Sevenfold - garbage. Lamb of God - garbage. The iconic songs were pretty much all 70s/80s.

There has been very little in terms of "step level" innovation in music since the 90s, so the classic songs of each genre tend to be pre-2000. There's still great music but very little is iconic because you're compared against the greatest of all time. You can play in a great death metal band - but are people going to listen to you or Death, CC, Dismember, Entombed, etc.?

I also think that bands suffer through lack of producers. Having that expert eye on song compositions can make a big difference that existed in the past.
