A question to the knowledgeable :)

Personally I never back multiple horses... If i'm keen on a longshot, usually back it e.w, then would take a boxed quinella or exacta with other horses I fancy...

    Apache Cat vs The Hussler

Taking a line through Magnus, who finished 2nd to the Hussler twice, but couldn't get near The Cat on saturday... I'd think the Cat over 1200m... especially on rain effected ground.

    Littorio The New Zipping?

Zipping has a pretty good winning strike rate, and was trained specifically for the Melbourne Cup last year hence it always running on into the placings in the shorter races. Littorio already strikes me as a bit of a plodder that will run some placings in good races, but will always find one...

    Golden Slipper

I like Over The Wicket e.w at good odds... Has drawn nicely and should get a nice run off the speed, has handled a wet track in the past and should be strong at the end of the 1200m.

    Rhys Palmer

Yeah, looking forward to seeing him play this week, and not only cause he's in my DT. From what i saw of the U18's carnival, he looked the pick of the mids and thought he might go higher than #7.

The 2 best Forward-lines in the COMP

I think it's pretty obvious a losing culture isn't going to bring about a recovery, who needs to come to that realisation you goose...

The 2 best Forward-lines in the COMP

Was this put on for comedy value, it's probably the worst forward line in the league!

    Karasi breaksdown

Very unfortunate, by all reports on was right on track to give it a shake for a fourth time. Hopefully he gets well looked after in a nice paddock somewhere... he deserves it!

    Collingwood vs Hawthorn- Buckle Up

I don't even like COllingwood but at least i can admit they're a good side and will go well this year... Essendon supporters have no idea, the win one game and all of a sudden Collingwood is no good...

    Drafting or Development?

A few players stand out in junior competitions against other kids but just don't cut it when they have to play against men, and others that don't stand out, take longer to develope and blossom a couple of years later, hence the reason their will always be high picks that don't work out as well...

Fremantle cannot win the Flag with their current list

Fremantle wont make the finals let alone win the flag. The fact they picked up Kepler Bradley shows they're no good...

    Bryce Gibbs

Can't say i completely agree with this comment.... Surely when you're running back looking at the football you don't think "i'm only a kid and i could get hurt by someone bigger than me, so i'll whince out of this contest"... You watch the ball and run at it, if you get hit in the process, it's...

    Largo Lad to Hayes

I'm gald people on here have pointed out how much worse Shrewd Rythym, Sharkbite and even Lazer Sharp to an extent have gone since changing to the Hayes stable. It's disappointing when a country trainer finds a good horse only to lose it to irrestible offers from the powerful stables.

    Flemington "Super Saturday" 8/3

I doubt Playwright will knock off the Hussler, it's not running in the same race :)

    Who has the better list?

Personally i think comparing lists is a fruitless exercise... A champion team will always beat a team of champions. This time last year i don't think anyone would have said Geelong had the best list in the comp, it was the same list that didn't make the finals the previous year... Collingwood...
