I'm a bit the same re age, but I'm trying to fight back and find music that can give me that buzz that an album like The Mouse and the Mask did.
I don't go back that far, and it would be the Beastie Boys who turned my tastes to hip hop initially. I like a lot of mellow stuff like De La, Tribe Called Quest, Jurrasic 5, N.E.R.D., Lyrics Born and hip hop DJs like Format, DJ Shadow, RJD2, Z trip, Katalyst and of course Dangermouse. A bit of stuff in between all of that.
Probably one of my favourite albums.
