Im only posting this so that it doesnt derail this thread anymore. Didnt mean to derail it in the first place. Apologies for my role in that. What I wrote wasnt what I meant. My first comment was only meant to be about the dammed if you do and dammed if you dont feeling if you write a report regularly when negative is seen as reality, but thats not what I wrote. I enjoy debate and opposing views which is why Im here and like engaging with those who disagree with me. The thing is in my working life I have to explain things in depth (probably why my reports are generally longish as well) and as a result on here I seem to fill a need to over explain in responses and my need to over explain (ironically right now Im even over explaining my over explaining) is the reason why Im stepping away as I dont enjoy the conversation due to how I respond.

Anyway online or in the real world Ill own my role in any disagreements. Time to move on. Given myself a self imposed thread ban anyway.

No worries - we enjoyed the reports while they lasted. And will again if and when you’re ready to publish again!

Kudos to you. Must be hard explaining the finer arts of scaffolding to the guys on site.

I’m struggling to remember all of yesterday’s session. I came off my bike on the way home and copped a concussion along with a fractured elbow. Feeling as dense as an Eagles supporter right now. Thanks to all who looked after me and my bike until the ambulance arrived.

I do remember a few things. The umpires split up to adjudicate two training drills at once, then combined for a mini match complete with scoring shown on the screen.

Even so the assistant coaches used a cushion for the ruckmen to go up against I would love to see Sandilands out there; unto a couple of weeks ago, he was looking great.

McCarthy took the pack mark of the game: I could only tell who it was after the pack (against 5 maybe) moved away.
I thought Fyfe was a bit rusty, but Mundy seemed as assured as ever.

I was also pleased to see Wilson run the ball out from a kick in for the first time. The big improver wil probably the team without too many injuries that takes advantage of the new rules.

Apart from the normal crew of watchers whose company i enjoy and probably won’t see again until after the season starts, I met some new people: a bloke who has put a thousand on Freo reaching the finals (good luck with that) and a man and his son from Derby seeing Freo in action for the first time. The son has met Tendai before, so hopefully his dream comes true and he plays for us one day.

I hope that you're feeling better soon mate.

Thank you for the training!

Sorry about the injuries but how is that great bike. See you in the River room first game. Get better real quick.

Awesome report mate especially considering the stack.

I fractured my elbow in what sounds like a similar bike stack just over 12 months ago. Elbows suck cos you’ve gotta balance healing with moving it to keep the flexibility it’s all good now but I feel your pain.

Thx again for the report [emoji106][emoji106][emoji110]

Moral of the story is;

Don't ride a bike or do any serious exercise. Instead sit around growing chubby while drinking Bintang/Beer of choice. Eat vanilla slices. Under no circumstances stop doing training reports.

Follow these basic rules and you shall live a balanced and happy life, gathering many Likes and great admiration.

Clear. Walkingwounded clearly needs some r&r to freshen up his "between the lines reading ability".

Yeh I need more Bali time... let me know when they’ve cleaned up the beaches.

I’ll bring up Hoges, and the rest of the Freo surfing crew!

Only problem is each time I’m in Bali I keep seeing the Wayne Carey. Don’t want him to corrupt the Freo guys.

Plenty of clean beaches. There's more to Bali than Kuta
