Plenty of clean beaches. There's more to Bali than Kuta
The whole southern coastline is littered this time of year, consequence of Java, rainfall, littered rivers. No idea if North of Bali is any better...

Late-2012 was great too. Rolling through. Ran out of gas in the semi final vs Adelaide.Don’t know why I do it to myself but was watching a pile of highlights from 2013 and 2014 this morning. We were such a good team back then. Everyone knew their role, strong bodies and players like Ballantyne and mayne looked unstoppable. If we had this team in 2016, 2017 or 2018 I reckon we would have won premiership easy. Hope we can get back to somewhere near this in 2019

After bumming around sanur, candidasa and amed for the best part of the last 3 weeks I can confirm all these beaches are just fine. The whole southern coastline is littered this time of year, consequence of Java, rainfall, littered rivers. No idea if North of Bali is any better...
Agree try Thailand as well, Military rule has done good things for the tourist spot unless you are truly dodgy.Bali is crapola, try Vietnam.

Was that our first game under Ross? That was a great game.
He was amazing that year. Should've won the Coleman.Yep.
Only thing that cost us a prelim spot that year was Pav agrevating his Achilles in that great performance against Geelong at the G.
Long time training report reader...first time poster. Wishing you a speedy recovery Clems Knee...your commitment to the cause has been much appreciated and sorry to hear of your accident.I’m struggling to remember all of yesterday’s session. I came off my bike on the way home and copped a concussion along with a fractured elbow. Feeling as dense as an Eagles supporter right now. Thanks to all who looked after me and my bike until the ambulance arrived.
I do remember a few things. The umpires split up to adjudicate two training drills at once, then combined for a mini match complete with scoring shown on the screen.
Even so the assistant coaches used a cushion for the ruckmen to go up against I would love to see Sandilands out there; unto a couple of weeks ago, he was looking great.
McCarthy took the pack mark of the game: I could only tell who it was after the pack (against 5 maybe) moved away.
I thought Fyfe was a bit rusty, but Mundy seemed as assured as ever.
I was also pleased to see Wilson run the ball out from a kick in for the first time. The big improver wil probably the team without too many injuries that takes advantage of the new rules.
Apart from the normal crew of watchers whose company i enjoy and probably won’t see again until after the season starts, I met some new people: a bloke who has put a thousand on Freo reaching the finals (good luck with that) and a man and his son from Derby seeing Freo in action for the first time. The son has met Tendai before, so hopefully his dream comes true and he plays for us one day.

I'm still fuming he was robbed of an AA spot.
Kicks most goals in the year, doesn't win Coleman #VFLlogicfailsHe was amazing that year. Should've won the Coleman.

Yep I still struggle to believe he wasn't AA full forward that year behind people who kicked less goals than him.He was amazing that year. Should've won the Coleman.

Valente may fill the inside mid role in the absence of Connor if the match committee believe that he's AFL fit:

Big ask though for a first year player to carry the load of a team's second best midfielder, particularly a team that has any sort of top 8 aspirations. more likely respnsibilities will be spread amongst Valente +North/Conca/Banfield/Walters/Cerra or even someone like Crowden. At least it will be out of promising young blokes and not a sutcliffe/Pearce/Sheridan like years gone by.
